Well they are radius arms... they're supposed to have a radius, right?

I just want the GDMF corn out of my gasoline. All of the gas engines I have - you know, lawn mower, chain saw, weed eater... man it gums up the carbs.

That's why I always use stabil, never had a carb gum up even after sitting for a year or more with the stuff in it, and I have around 10 small engines that get used, 2 of them sit and only get started once or twice a year. I found 89 octane really helps with the engine heat and carbon buildup with small engines too lol.

I've heard that Stabil doesn't work for the new gas. As I said, 'heard.' Interesting. Maybe I'll call the place that sends pickups with hats on them.

I noticed the new red version says it can be used with ethanol gas, they also have the ethanol version which is yellow, it's always worked for me. I've kept gas with stabil in it for over a year and still smelled fresh, works for me lol

EDIT: I always add a little bit more stabil than they say, it even says over treat is not harmful.

I haven't posted here in a while... So I guess I will update. My tire fell off on the way to work in the morning and did some small damage to the brakes and backing plate. The truck is ok and all the other drivers were fine but the brakes I just did are toast, the drum is toast (more so than before) and my wheel studs are trashed. Basically I suspect it was from my own lack of properly tightening the lugs down. I'll admit, I made the stupid mistake of using and trusting an impact gun to tighten them enough. Live and learn.

50mph on the freeway when it happened, 2 lanes over in the fast lane (passing lane).

Damn near pooped myself when it happened, I said enough swear words to scare a sailor.

First time on a tow truck, last time if I can help it.

Fresh new brakes are garbage now. Half the springs missing, adjustment wheel gone, backing plate hosed.

All the studs were bent inward.

As mentioned

This reminded me of the skiis on a helicopter for some reason...

Ford made one hell of a backingplate. All that weight coming down on it...

So after I got the truck to the shoulder, I looked out the window to see my tire and drum rolling down the HOV lane (funny right?)

Time for some new rims though. Some nice black steelies will do fine.

Never liked aluminum rims anyways.

My beautiful paint!

Less damage than expected.

Overall it could have gone much worse but thankfully it didn't. No one got hurt, the Bronco will live once more... Just after a mani pedi .
