Are you saying the P/S has been swapped from another year truck?

72 = San Jose (NorCal) Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
0323 = Domestic Special Order number, truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."
When there is no COLOR code stamped on the Warranty Plate, truck painted a non standard color, making it a Domestic Special Order.
This is a 1993 and I don't presently have a truck parts catalog after 1989 that I can access.
Thank you for the quick reply. I was really just hoping for the trans and axle code info as I can't find it anywhere. I'm about 6 hours from the truck so it's not as simple as quickly visiting the truck. I appreciate it anyway
Thank you for this!! The truck now has 90000 original miles, has a 391 installed by the Ford dealer in Parker, Az. in 1988 at 71000 miles. Has A/C under the dash. It has spent it's whole life in Arizona, hauling furniture from Las Angeles to Parker, Az. I am putting a 1000 gallon water tank on it to use for my off grid home in Az.
Just bought this F600 from the original owner. 73k miles and needs a few things but runs like a top even after sitting for the last 5 years and 50psi oil pressure. It even had the original ford truck owners identification card in it. Appreciate any extra info you can come up with beyond what I have gleaned from all the other great posts.
