I need help!

Hello everyone,

I just bought a 75 F600 and I’ve been trying for days now to decide the vin tag. I know it has a 330 HD and a NP542 but I can’t find anything about axles.
I will attach a picture of the door plate. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Carrier bearing are not vehicle specific, if u take ur carrier off and measure I'd and od any drive line shop can get u a part number "just act like ur going to purchase from them

Also check for ford part number on rubber "flat side" this can be referenced if original

F50 = F500.

A = 240 1V I-6.

K = Kansas City MO Assembly Plant.

C15119 = 1968.

156" Wheelbase.

C = Pure White.

F502 = F500, 16,000 lbs. GVWR

481: 4 = Charcoal Black Crush Vinyl & Charcoal Black Ladder Pattern Vinyl // 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

A = New Process 435 4 Speed Manual Transmission.

32 = Timken model C100N Single Speed Rear Axle / 6.20-1 / 11,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

16,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

129 net HP @ 4,000 RPM

550480:

55 = St. Louis MO Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

0480 = Domestic Special Order number, truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."

Go to NAPA and buy the support kit, they'll ask you the year, engine size, wheelbase, trans and axle type. It's obsolete from Ford:

D4TZ-4800-C .. Driveshaft Center Support Kit / Obsolete ~ 17 available NOS

No part numbers marked on the parts after 1956. If there's a number, it will be an engineering number, but it won't be any use, because Ford replaced the support kit part number twice.

Best advice I can give is to take the old bearing to a big truck parts supplier and have them match it up with a new one.

Welcome to FTE. Numberdummy appears to be taking a day or 10 off. Please stand by for your decode. Please do not open another thread or post on an old thread with another request.

What are your plans for that truck? That's a LOT of truck!

Anyone know the part number for the master cylinder repair kit or master itself? more squared off than the 80 and newer round with flange half way up.
This one is more rectangular with the lower front face tapered in towards the bottom.

Looking for part numbers or diagrams that help determine what I need, and what is the difference with single or split system in regards to 1968 c750? Is that single/dual line master or is that in reference to the rear mount boosters, and does this truck have one of those? The truck is 5hrs away and I'd like to have parts ready and with me when I return.

It's going to have a frame mounted booster. There is no room for a conventional firewall mount as sometimes seen in F series.

I think you will have to inspect the hydro-vac as multiple models/makers were used.
