That has to look like a Chris Craft that is not "trimmed" right.

What kind of oil/water temps are you guys seeing towing yout TT's?

My first trip out pulling a slight grade maybe 3% over a 3 mile distance. going 70 MPH I saw 235 EOT and 219 ECT. Once on flat ground the Temps dropped linearly.

I have a 0 drop hitch now and have wondered if I don't have enough tongue weight. With the boat on the back helping lessen the TT tongue weight I often wonder if it isn't enough to help stabilize the rear axle load.

Can you flip the 14K receiver hitches and still be good for 9K or less?

I have a little squat but it handles wonderfully so i dont see much reason to invest in a WDH. i'm guessing i'm around 4500/5000 loaded up.

I brought the trailer home for the weekend from the storage site I keep it at to put a new rubber roof on it. I did not use the WD since it was only 15 miles I have about 900# TW and the ex does not sag much with it on but every bump I hit shuck us around a lot. I put the bars on for the trip back up and it was a much smother ride

Looking at my deal you can see pretty much no squat, it is pretty level. I would like to try a raised hitch but don't know what to get that isn't expensive.

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish with raising the front of the camper....

On my old TT, I had to add 400lbs to the front to get it to pull nice without sway. That was even with the equalizer hitch and sway control. The extra wt made it possible to pull the ATV trailer behind it without changing the way the trailer itself towed.

Hell, I've even added wt to the front of the new one by mounting the generator up there.

We do pack the heavy stuff towards the front. Water, batteries, propane tanks, coolers with ice and stuff all in the front, still seams light on the tongue weight (looking at it and how it feels).

Up a really long hard pull like Vail Pass or Black mountain in NC I might see 230 eot and 210 on the tranny. IDK about ECT in my 7.3 thoiugh. plenty of time to cool down on the other side of the hill.

Your master bedroom in the front?

Our old camper it was, and there was a storage under the bed. I took part of it apart and stacked some WT under it and put it back together so it's all hidden. Worked out nice. Before I sold it, I took half of the wt out and left 200 lbs up there so it pulled nicer for the next guy. Something you might want to look into..

Yes it is!

We have all the chairs, small grill, rugs, tables, and whatnots under the bed. There isn't much that we don't have packed or stored away in the front of the TT while traveling.

I haven't ever weight my rig and checked stuff like each axle weight, tongue weight, and stuff like that. It may all be well balanced and I don't even know. I am mainly just going off looks of how much the X sags (which it doesn't) compared to others pictures on here. Maybe my X just don't like to sag?

There's a CAT scale near you in Plover right on I39. Even if you don't change your setup after visiting, it's worth a visit.

Well before I did my rear springs, it would sit on the bump stops easy. Now with the new springs, the 800+ pounds of the camper on the back without the WD hitch only drops the rear about a inch or so, but lifts the front a tad. But I'm a gasser. The diesel won't get the front lift as bad.

I know, we have weighed our work trucks there a few times. I just never took my whole train there to weigh it.

I ran mine across a closed DOT scale off the interstate. They usually keep the outside readout on. Than it's free, and can mess around with wt a bit.
