Today I put up a few of those newer 8' LED light fixtures in the shop. WOW. Even though I already converted the old floursent light fixtures to LED they are dim..here is just the 2 new 8 footers on.
With them all on, it makes quite the difference. And I have 2 more 8 footers to put up on the other side. The lone diaginial is for when I open the garage door and block that 4 bulb fixture...but I fixed that below.
To take care of THAT issue, I put 2 Harbor Freight singles ON the garage door. Garage door goes up, light go with it.
Pardon the shop mess, I am in the middle of 1000 projects.

Got the other two 8 footers up and WOW what a difference. Just the 4 new ones by themselves.
All the lights on. I had to move stuff around to get the ladder where I need it, so now I have to move stuff back. I need to throw out stuff in my way.
No worries the Bronco was NOT in the way. I think I am going to get 2 more and put them down the center for MAX Illumination.
I got 2 more of those 8' LED lights put up in the middle of the shop, and WOW what a differecne is makes in there and when working on the ol Bronco. And with the 4' ones from HF that I put on the garage door, tons more light when I raise the Bronco hood....as long as the garage door is down. And with 4" of fresh snow out there, the garage door is staying shut for a while, so shop "side lights" engaged.
Adequate lighting is such a game-changer, isn't it? I have excellent lighting in my garage and lousy lighting in my shop. I'm just renting the shop, so I'm not excited about spending $ to improve the lighting there.
Even those 8-ft light fixtures only mount with two wood screws and the 2 brackets (provided) and they come with the 110 plugs so you can plug them right into an extension cord and any regular 110 outlet. Good light now and easily take them with you whenever you move to a new shop or something.

Thanks, here it is with the other 2 light down the middle. I off set one to be more on the work bench side, and it happen to fall out with the roll up door trac anyway. I can't wait for the SIL to get the mini split installed. The propane Mr Heater works great, but the annual propane refill is painful. So by spring I should have elec heat AND a/c. Keeping the propane as a back up, since it is already installed and working great. Just the 6 new lights.
Old set up and with new ones on also.
Old worn out 35x16x15 boggers. How worn you ask?
Same 35x16x15 on the outside, except thay are new, when I put the new ones on, I feel like I put a lift kit on.
Well I started the ol Bronco and got it out of the garage today, 1st time this year. Then I started cleaning the garage, I either need a bigger garage (not going to happen, to much $$$). So just rearranging "stuff" to have more room, man I have way too much stuff in that garage. I did discover I have a 30' work bench and not just a 30' storage shelf.
So the other day when I back the Bronco out the garage, to have more room to clean up the garage. I purposely parked the Bronco tail high on a large pile of gravel (that I still have not had a chance to spread), to make sure the Holley off road carb was still up to the chore of way off camber idleing.
It does not like to be used in a alwasy flat appliciation. I think that is why I got it so cheap off FB MP (like 150 bucks), the PO said he did not like how it ran on a flat surface (paved road) appliciation.
Intended for off-road/off-angle use. Unique metering block designed for flood free operation up to 40º while climbing and 30º during side hill maneuvers & “nose down” decents.
