Tom, it becomes a bore vs stroke issue. Vs the distance and pressure the handle would have to move.
I really don't see something like a cycle master cylinder having enough volume/pressure to relese a 11 inch clutch. Or if u rigged up a stock sized master, I would think u would have to squeeze harder than humanly possible.

you know what i hate????
cancer and alzheimers. got a call today from my mom while i was shopping. turns out my grandpa's doc says they need to do a 3 day hospital evaluation on him and he is likely going straight from there to a nursing home to finish out his time here on earth. i'm scared chitless about it because it has been uber-obvious for the last 8 or so years that grandma has only been holding on to take care of him. me and my sister both came to the conclusion that if they get separated neither of them will make it very long.
to top that off, my uncle on that side of the family got his 2 month expiration date for cancer as well from his doctor a month ago, so to sum it up my mom's brother is knocking on death's door, her father is getting sent to a home to die more or less, and i just plain old don't think my grandma can take the stress of losing a son and being alone and/or possibly losing her husband all around the same time. bum deal man.

not much anyone can do about it, but thanks for the nice words. i foresee my mom going apechit crazy in the near future over this, and with my sister down in texas all that's really up here is me and my dad to console her. neither of us are the slightest bit worth a damn in sensitive emotional situations.

I hate all that chit for you Dan. I have been through a lot of losses myself so I know what it's like. Nothing makes it any better. But I wish you the best getting through it all. Sounds like you have a really good wife, stick close and treat her well.

fun story time
in kindergarten i fell off of a slide because i bounced off of a fat girl, true story
we werre going down the slide one by one, but staying on the slide when we got to the bottom. people started piling up and i was towards the end of the line. i went down and hit the fat girl in front of me and bounced off. i feell head first into the gravel playground at my school. i got up with a rock sticking out of my head blood going everywhere. mom was working but my step dad (bad mother effer) had the day off so he came to get me when they called home. he walks into the playground where i was and starts asking me what happened. i tell him i don't remember and cry like a little girl. he gets tired of the b/s and starts getting upset, asks me wtf i did that i shouldn't have. finally my teacher broke down and told him i bounced off a fat chick and fell on my head in the rocks. he stopped yelling, told me to get in the car and took me home, cleaned me off, patched me up, and said "walk it off ****er". he had a good laugh and i have a big divot 3 fingers long in the back of my head. 
seriously, more parents need to be like that nowadays. it may seem archaic to some nancy boy sissys, but that's life. if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough
