Call Jay at Broader performance. He knows his stuff and he has everything you need. When I built the C6 that was behind my 528 I got most of the parts from him and it's STILL together behind that motor although hasn't done much last couple years.
he also has kits and complete transmissions or just individual parts.
another idea and he carries parts for it, is to swap to a wide ratio gear set, then run a little taller gears in teh diffs. This allows for still go low end and yet top gear is closer to the OD of an E4OD
the way i look at it, i can push the clutch in by hand with no effort.
so it should not be a problem converting to a hand clutch.
i would think the biggest problem would be finding the proper master cylinder to mount to the shifter.
SURE! But you'll never be able to pick it up from me since you live in The People's Republic of Kaliphornya.
Don't get a Norinco M-14, they had quite a few with bad metalurgy and a lot of GI parts won't fit.

BAR.... to be honnest a Semi auto in general as long as its by Browning, but i want a 270 30-06 7mm possibly a 300 but those are the only ones ill consider
I'll have to check on price but NEW BAR's ain't cheap, that price sounds about right.
If the "internet" price isn't that much more you're way better off to get it from your local dealer. Plus if nobody buys anything from him he might not be there when you really need him.
If I ordered one for a local customer it would be $949 for Synthetic and $959 for a wood-stocked Safari MKII.
Your guy's price is right in there and more than fair to order it.
