Nice ! The most I've made in one run was $30.65 (250 pounds of iron & steel & 5 pounds of aluminum). But the most in one day was $38.63 (between two runs I had 271 pounds of steel & iron & 14 pounds of aluminum). The vehicle I used to both of those runs that day was a 2000 Honda Civic. It handled the weight horribly which was one of the reasons I bought a truck (oddly enough it can't do anything yet ). I have the receipts to prove it.
lol the day i made close to 2 grand was hauling off Junk cars, that was 2 grand a peice split between 3 guys scrapping and the owner of cars i think we hauled of5 like 18cars in a day, 1 man loaded us with a Excavator while 2 of us hauled them.... i think they where paying like 15cent a pound for cars then and the profits was after fuel was takin outta the money

Still it must have been an awesome haul.
Now back the regular scheduled thread...
Know what I hate... when my youngest niece bit my left nipple . That hurts ! I really don't like kids (but that was covered earlier).
I had a 55 gallon drum full of empty beer cans and 3 radiators (2 of which me and StG put holes in trying to get the bho ready for a race in VA one night  ) on my last run, made 110.. only 10 of it was the beer cans.
I bought a pickup for 100$ kept the motor and the welder/generator out of the back, made a pickup box trailer, hauled the rest of it in, along with the remains of my wheeler and got $164, sold my old pickup box trailer for $300, and than used the new box trailer to haul more scrap in for $90 more.
Some times we have good prices here, most of the time not so much. I just haul crap in to get it out of my yard!
I normally scrape to buy truck parts..... may have to scrape to cover the repair cost for the dually
That is what I'm currently doing. It's how I raised a small part of my funds for Rustoleum (including herself too). It took 13 months from having the will to save a lot (well for me at the moment) of money to the acquirement of Rustoleum [even though I can't afford her]. But, even with all of her problems I wouldn't give her up for the world.
the best i ever did was $900 in crushed beer cans in one run around 15 years ago.
another time i made $3000 in one day when i was asked to clean out an old ambulance company. 100 gurneys at $300 each.
the next day i ran 10 loads over the scales 3 loads of 6.9 and 7.3 diesel blocks, 3 loads of transmissions, 2 loads of rotors, and 2 loads of drums.
then there were a few in-floor lifts, and 5 stripped rigs that went out.
i cleared close to $10,000 that week, and ran close to 50,000 lbs over the scales

That is epic right there. It sounds like you won this round...
