I just read the previous pages. I apologize for making anyone worry like that. I promise that wasn't my intention. I did not mean to sound as if I were in danger. I really was asking if I should be worried, I wasn't sure what was going on. I have chest pains often but never for that long. When it didn't seem to be letting up I was starting to work myself into a panic.
Thanks for the concern fellas, I'm really touched. And not in the michael jackson way.
Oh, and while I wish I could say I was something important like an EMT or medic, I'm not. Just a laid off security officer.
all this snow and crappy weather. after dicking around with the bronco yesterday i'm all motivated to work on it, but it probably won't happen anytime soon.
you know what else i hate????
strange medical issues. seems like the wife can't catch a break. something has been up with her stomach for the last couple days. i'm no doctor, but all of the online crap that fit her symptoms all seems like issues with internal womern parts and all require surgery as a fix. man i just wish the wife could be fine for a bit, she doesn't need anymore stress and hassle than what she already has to deal with on a daily basis...................me
i know. told you guys i'm actually a pretty nice, caring, compassionate person for being such an *******
EDIT: it's still colder than a witches titty in a brass bra but the sun is out and the white stuff is melting. now i just have to worry about flooding if it gets nice and warm out, yay
Yeah, all of our snow melted yesterday during the day, then when I was out delivering last night I was Tokyo drifting on all the ice that it left.
yep, thats when the real issues start. melts in the day and freezes at night. then all the really bad drivers end up in ditches everywhere. wish teh bronco had a hitch and was all together. i'd go out and pull some people out and make some easy money. used to do it all the time in the 350.
p.s. granted it had open diffs, but 4 wheel burnouts with 40'' boggers whilst pulling dodges chevys out of ditches is just full of so much win
Dan knows how much snow parts of IL got, but got stuck yesterday behind a truck that was in a drift. By the time the snow plows came it was up part way up the doors on a frieghtliner. Snow plows tried for awhile, one of them got stuck and had to call for a frontend loader to pull him out. After he got out they decided it was quiting time the (insert bad words here) LEFT. and left 13 trucks stranded with no food ect. 9 of us decided enough of that BS and backed 3 miles to a cross roads were we could turn around.
Can't believe those waste of breath salt shaker guys left us out there in the middle of no where (closes house was over 3/4 mile away across a corn field) So you can guess what I hate right about now. Ok not all of them just the jack russell that left us there.
Edit, time to go do it all again LOL.
Oh and actually had to drive thru one area where they were still trying to get the snow off the road adn the sides of the drift were higher then hte windows on the cab of my semi
yep Rob, my neighbor drives for lucky trucking(i think) they have a dispatch or something a few miles from me. he parked his rig at the shell truckstop a mile and a half from us and by morning time the whole parking lot had a solid 5-7 foot of drifting snow over it. buried 5 semi's in. they had to get the company end loader and drive it 5 or so miles to the truckstop to get him out because shell decided they weren't going to plow their lot on their dime, owned and run buy dirka dirka guys, so.......yeah. might have to take a drive down that way to see if they are all out today or not.
