Thanks for all your help but I can’t do it anymore when I can get someone over here with a reader that they know how to use then maybe I’ll get an answer I’m sending the OBDLINK back f@#$ing place that sells them has no tech service so up theirs
The OBDII adapter must be plugged in with the key on for the phone to find it. That said, I hear you and wish you well in whatever direction you choose.
Yup had it plugged in Bluetooth recognizes it tried to plugged in Keon. I don’t know maybe it’s my truck. I’m not stupid. This is absolutely ridiculous. Thank you for your time.
Did you load the OBDII app that came with the adapter? If so, then that is the issue (it is only BlueTooth I believe). You want to ONLY use the FORScan app (not the app that came with the adapter). If it isn't that, then I'm out of ideas.

I took a nap I just woke up and saw your post about the adapter app yes I did download it I I just removed it and I will try again in the morning thank you !!!
I won't go out to my truck while waking up my wife, so this will be abbreviated for now.
Get into the truck and plug in your OBD2 adapter. I always turn to key-on - wait to start.
Go to settings on your phone.
Go to Wi-Fi.
Turn the Wi-Fi off.
Turn Wi-Fi back on. As it populates, you should see your OBD2 as one of the choices. Tap that. Then, you can back out and click on ForScan.
Click on Connect. It will take a few sweeps.
I tried it WiFi will not recognize it it will connect through Bluetooth and sys connected but nothing on the screen on any of the choices on FORscan I give up I’m sending back OBDLINK maybe try another OBD or just tear it down when the weather warms up hopefully end of next month and try to see the problem with my eyes and not diagnostics
