yeah, it is pretty much a waste comparing the 454 to 460 (especially since I figure mine is about a 460 now that mine is bored .030 over). I have learned in general that both Ford and Chevy each have strong points. Of course I had to slide a Dana 60 under the front.
With regards to the F-250, I got about 15 to 17 mpg with a ZF, 4.10s, and a 6 inch lift. I was very impressed.

This truck has the zf, and 3.54s, stock height too, but I am afraid the big brush guard and flat bed will hurt mpgs.
Other thing that will hurt, I live in an area full of mild hills, with a few short but steep ones thrown in.
Even though it is a 90, This truck has the TTB Dana 50
I want to find one and swap it in, shame they go for $1000 .
First, to find out if the vacuum leak is making the truck miss, pinch off the lines tell it runs smoother. The one that makes it run better is the one that is leaking.
A vacuum leak can cut down mpgs too...
Second thing, what load range tires are you running?
If they start out P- then the number, they are car tires, not Ok.
If they start out LT- then look at the load range.
Should be a C, D or E stamped on the side wall.
C is too light, D is the minimum.
What pressures are you running?
You should have D or E LT tires with around 45-50 in front and 60-80 in back.
Makes it ride rough, but you are risking a blowout any other way.
Really helps MPGs too, which is how I got started on this...
At the deal you got of course! I can not totally get amped up over the Ford in the video. It is darned impressive, but I am still part Chevy guy too. I love my Ford, but I have to say, I love my Chev too!
man, we have got to figure out a way to bring you back from the dark side.

load range E, 51 in the front, and 80 in the back.
I do need to get new ones, as the front tires are nothing more than Super Slick tires, and the rear are turning that way also.
I can say that I am not impressed by the new Chevies, and would buy a new Ford over a new Chevy (part of it is my political views which I will not touch on) so that is okay, right? I am an older Chevy guy. How's that?

Hey guys I do not know if you read the general auto section here, but I just started a thread on exotic replicas. If you have time let me know what you think of the pros and possible cons to owning one. You can answer in the thread instead of here. Thanks for any input.
Josh you will probably like it.

No idea where it is coming form. Which is killing me.
I am going to start with the brakes, because I feel there is a vacuum leak there somewhere.
other than that. I don't know where the other leak could be, as I said before the PO really messed this engine up.
I may end up needing to replace all the damn hoses
