I got a rebuild kit for my carburetor. Now I gotta put together $20 to get a bucket of carburetor bath so I can get everything nice and clean, and once that's done, I'll be able to start rebuilding it. Also, I was looking around in the Tech topic in this section and I found an awesome site about the 2bbl Motorcraft carbs (click here), so between the papers that came with the kit, that site, and perhaps a few phone calls to my uncle, I'll have this knocked out and rebuilt.
And I am going to get the choke working properly while I'm at it. I'm ready for my truck to warm itself up in the winter... :P

Don't ask me how I did that. :P Welcome to FTW, mvhsnumber90!

Somehow one of the sun visors on the Cherokee got left open when I got to my GED class, and it stayed open with its built-in light on for about three hours...
Cranked up like nothing happened. Man I love that Optima battery! lol
I've been collecting parts for a 351W stroker and parts for my 80 F150 for a couple of years. I usually only bought stuff at 1/2 price or less. Being down with the swine flu this past week, I decided to make a list of all the parts with a close estimate of what I paid for them.
The stroker motor parts totaled $2710 and the truck parts $784. I didn't think I had spent anywhere near that.
