Haha, I read the NE thread. I can't believe we won, this is further proving my point. If I don't watch, we win. If I watch a game, we lose.

^ Bad luck

My Optima battery has sat pretty much untouched and unused since July, and it just NOW is needing a charge. It's stayed above 12V the whole time, and the only reason it ran down lower (to 11.9V) is because I tried to start my truck in 55F weather to no avail...

That is a darned good battery.

I gave it a much-deserved charging with my trusty ol' 6 amp charger this evening. Fortunately, the battery wasn't the culprit. It has to be something else. The carb did sit for three or more years before I put it on my truck, so I can't expect it to be perfect. Plus the old Fords are cold-natured too.

That's a gorgeous car. How many cops did you have following in pursuit by the time you finished driving it? :P

got it to 100 on an uphill in under 8 seconds. GOOOOOODDDDDLLLLLYYY!!!!!!!
650hp and 780ftlbs, on a car that weights no more than our engine blocks. (over-exaggerated of course)

wow, that is the best sounding thing I have ever heard... wow!

The fastest thing I have ever driven was an old cop car with a few mods.
300 HP.
4100 pounds.

auto
but I can put it into manual
paddle shifters ftw dude haha
they have 3 major modes, and 5 minor modes
manual, automatic, semiautomatic
manual the computer WONT shift if you forget to, and let it redline for too long.
automatic, like any other auto
semi auto, you can redline, but the transmission will shift into the next gear if it redlines for more than 2 seconds.
amazing piece of machinery

That sounds awesome. what is the top speed?
I could never afford to put tires on it all the time.

I burn though them way too fast in my cop car as it is.
