Didnt run it today, it started to rain. Hopefully it will be clearer tomorrow

The control **** is to retard the timing

I have to find the nearest dyno, i have never been to one before

The truck is still SD and i have never had any issues. I cant really see the supercharger making much of a difference

Here is the truck

I also added a Gear Vendors O/D unit. I have 4:11 gears,4X4,C-6 auto. I can split all gears with this thing. Beats anything I've ever seen, except that Peterbuilt I used to drive.LOL!

You really have a nice truck. I would love to pick up a nice supercharger. Are they a universal fit or is yours a 460 cid specific?

I know that feeling! I have been wanting to convert to mass air for a long time, so I am looking forward to seeing how well it works. From what I've seen from other peoples conversions, I think it will work out fine.

Just a couple questions about the mass-air computer. Does it completely replace the existing computer, or does it just control the engine (and you retain the existing computer for other functions)? Are you able to "tune" through the new computer, or is it just set to optimize to a certain level? Will your warning lights still work?

Good luck!

By the way, why will it take three weeks to get?

Well it costed me 2190.00 that cosited of MAF kit, upgraded map sensor and a direct plug in for the tranny computer so i don't have to do any splicing. You could use a Cali truck if you had one.
Tha MAF kit replaces the stock comp and comes with the wire harness for the injectors and mass air sensor. The computer will be no different than the the stock one its not a tuneable set up. Every thing on the truck will still work pretty much a bolt on plug and play. There is a seperate computer for a E4OD equiped truck to control the tranny and it is tuneable by lab top in the truck with you while you drive. It will take up to three weeks as they will have to build it from scratch i'm sure there is not a big call for these kits.

Dude I'm glad you directed me here. This info is awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the mass air does for you. It killed me to see your last dino numbers with the same components that I was looking into adding. I remember a few years back a freind of mine had a computer that he plugged into his car and he was able to make adjustments to the engine. Of course this was a Subaru, but I was wondering if there is some kind of program out there like that for the 460. I subscribing to this one though. Thanks again 4wheeling

I hope no one has giving up on me yet i am still waiting on the MAF kit. I called them last thursday and he told me. There where 2 people a head of me and mine should ship late this week or early next week. So now i am hoping to see it monday or tuesday. So some where out there in the world there is 2 other people doing this conversion also. I wish they too would post there build up on here. That could be lots of good info.

You should tell them that there are a bunch of potential customers in this thread waiting for the outcome of this conversion! Unfortunately, I doubt it would help speed things up.

I recall you saying you put Hedman Hedders on your truck and was curious what part number it was that you used. 89516 was the only one I found that is street legal for our year and model truck. I was also wondering why Hedman suggests using a trans-dapt throttle body spacer with there heads when everywhere I read those things are just snake oil. Thanks for the link to Tweecer, that's exactly what I was thinking of.

flitefreak the header part number i used was 89511 that is the emission legal headers and non emission is 89510 if you do not want to run your egr. I do not know why they suggest the spacer other than some thing else for you to buy.
