I have seen that thread and i'm not saying it doesn't have any real merrit but it is only backed by a stop watch and things that don't add up to what i found. Please do not add things of this nature to this thread as i am trying to back up my findings with real facts. I'm not trying to knock his thread and i know you are only trying to help, but it is only backed by a hold in your hand stop watch. Please don't take this the wrong way.

bada$$ man. i went a much simpler route with my maf. i had a 95 f150 with a maf 302 that i just swapped a 460 into. what is the difference in the injector firing order 302/460. as that never even crossed my mind. i will be running a remote mounted turbo system behind the cab like the sts system. super low buck boost. im currently waiting for my drive lines to be made. stupid rockwells.

old 302, 351 and 460 carry 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 the firing order for a 302HO is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 that is what you are running.

I could of went the burned chip route but i didn't want to have to deal with sending it back and forth getting it reburned. So going the MAF route was better for me and i also had this PMS setting around the house i could use that i could make on the fly changes. But for some one who has made some changes and not going to make any more that would be a good deal to have a chip burned.

yea set base timing at the dizzy 10-14 what ever works for you. But to change the injector firing order do it at the computer plug-in sounds scary but its not bad you only have to move 4 wires.

302HO & 351 firing order
Injector#1-Location 58
Injector#2-Location 59
Injector#3-Location 12
Injector#4-Location 13
Injector#5-Location 14
Injector#6-Location 15
Injector#7-Location 42
Injector#8-Location 52

302non-HO & 460
Injector#1-Location 58
Injector#2-Location 59
Injector#3-Location 14
Injector#4-Location 42
Injector#5-Location 12
Injector#6-Location 15
Injector#7-Location 13
Injector#8-Location 52

I just looked back at your post i did even notice you are running a truck maf set up. I'm not a 100% sure but i think you have the HO firing order already and i'm not sure that those location pin #'s are right for your truck ecm?
