Nolan set up a group for us on FB so we could have out own little OT while the IT tards here at FTE were playing.
Honestly who the heck shuts down a site for maintenance at peak hours? Shouldn't that be done at like 2am? Computer nerds are up then anyways. They're practically nocturnal! I know. I was one.
So far I've noticed that my readily available smilies have changed. I now have to go to the big smiley menu for my favorite smileys now.
So for all not on FB what I did today was break into a straight 6 Cummins in a TD15E Dresser dozer. My bro was the lead I just helped him. We pulled the oil pan and head and got the cylinders out. The #1 cylinder was scored terribly on the sides presumably due to a bad oil squirter for lack of a more technical term. We are thinking that caused metal bits to drop into the pan and get in the journal bearings therefore wrecking all the journal bearings. The sleeves are scored pretty badly as well. I believe I'll be working with my bro to pull the sleeves tomorrow.
