Steve, I'm glad to hear that he's doing better. I had pneumonia about three years ago and was in the hospital for four days with it. It kicked my butt. That stuff is rough especially when it complicates another illness. We're still thinking of you and the family buddy and if there's anything we can do to help out, please just let us know. There's a lot of distance between all of us but we can at least be here for you buddy.
So, this year for my dad's memorial trip, I wanted to do something that I was unable to do when we spread his ashes, or last year when we visited his place..
So this year I can afford it and decided to do it. I am having this engraved on a large piece of granite so we can leave it on the mountainside where we left him:
I hope it looks good.
That is awesome Lisa. A very nice tribute to your Father.
I go pick it up after work tomorrow, and I'll take a picture of it. Also I will take a ton of pics when I'm in Colorado, so I'll post a picture of the stone in its final resting place.
I wanted to do something permanent, so that people who go there long after I am gone will know he is there.
We spread him on a mountainside overlooking a large valley, out in the middle of hundreds of miles of National Forest. It will always be there.

Lisa your Dad would be very proud and touched. Thanks for sharing this part of your life with us.

We are still keeping you and your family in our thoughts Steve.
I need to get a coolant filter and a BTS VB before I can change my coolant and trans fluid.
I guess I could start on my differential fluid swap...
Where the heck would you guys look for 75w-140?
Any auto parts store "should" have that gear oil. Whether or not they actually do will be another story. Not as easy to find as one may think.

I know I talk about him a lot, but, he's on my mind a lot.
Good luck on the closing tomorrow Jim. I wouldn't be surprised if its postponed again. When I bought and sold my house, I got yanked around a lot, closings got rescheduled a lot.
Cris...closest thing to a tractor supply around here would be a to z equipment rental...baseline and stapley...its a great place, and there is a dunkins across the street!
