ouch Mike. That's worse that I was picturing. I was hoping for only the back panel but that smucked up the side pretty good too!

Anything with enough force behind it to propell it can fly...lol

Nah it ripped the roof off the farm, but the pigs were ok. Obviously not emotionally damaged, they were still eating their feed.

I guess pigs can fly, I'll be damned. Hopefully everyone is OK.
Well thats a positive way of looking at an accident.

A free pig..right through the side of the house. I guess I could just shave a few pieces off whichever part is sticking through my side of the wall.. and walk into the kitchen and make some bacon!

Funny you say that Jay, the back panel sustained no damage, except the broken tail light lense. He BARLEY clipped us, another 2" to the left and he would have missed it completely.

Well, the way I see it, being positive about an accident(incident) makes it easier to deal with, at least for me.

Well, the house is a vacation house that my parents rented but the lake is the same one that is a half mile from my house. We spend nearly every weekend of the summer on that lake so it's sort of like we are always on vacation!

We got back from camping this afternoon, but not without incident........of course

Our camper got rear ended on the way home, no major damage but it did crinkle the sheet metal and bust a tail light out. A truck was making a left turn onto a road and the one of the two drivers behind him wasn't paying attention and slammed on the brakes to avoid a collision. Well, my following distance went from 6 car lengths to none in a hurry(55mph zone) It was all I could do to avoid hitting the car in front of me, then I feel a light tap and look in the mirror in time to see parts flying and another vehicle going by on the left. The guy wasn't paying attention(his words) and just clipped the LR corner of the pop up. Funny thing is, it did quite a bit of damage to his Jeep Liberty: dented fender, popped the fender flare off, ripped the inner fender liner out and cracked the front bumper cover. I'll be in contact with his insurance co. tomorrow and try to find somewhere to repair the camper.
Oh well, it could have been much worse.
Glad tha tyour ok Mike the camper can always be fixed.

Maybe Ed and Jay are both color blind and cannot tell the difference between green and red?

YouTube - Pink Floyd- Pigs On The Wing (Part 1 and 2) Video

One of my all time favorites.

me and another guy used to have a little acoustic duo and we played for pizza and beer at the local college hangout on wednesday and thursday nights..... This song was always the last on our set list. I miss those days.

Good morning all! I've actually been up for 3 hours already!!! hahaha... ah well.. the new carpet should be getting installed today, so I should FINALLY be able to get the last big furniture items out of my trailer and get my room setup.

Job hunting sucks but I'm going to be getting a new server off my buddy. Some of the spec's I know are:

2 quad-core 2.4GHz processors
8GB RAM
8 GIG-ethernet connections
1.5 TB of storage

hehehe... maybe I should start hosting FTE!! hahaha NO!

I'm hoping the rain will let up... it was gorgeous out at 5:30 this morning. Let's pray it lasts!!!

Learning something the hard way is usually the only way that it will stick.
