Hey GOOD MORNING everyone LOL. Well it's morning here. Still going somewhat stong, but 2 days in 110 degree heat with a 45lb flak jacket can definitely put a hurtin' on your body!! Finally got done putting T-walls, Texas abd Jersey Barriers around our compound. I'm pretty sure they'll be taken down in like 3 months anyways.....

Good Mornoing everyone.
Hopefully a little cooler here today, it was ONLY 95 out yesterday, but the 88 in the house was a killer. Damn AC decided it wasn't going to work this year, hope it's a cheap/easy fix.

Facebook huh? Mike Tober.

Jay, I don't know what "tweeting" is LOL, but I tell ya, Facebook has been a great thing. I was able to find some old lost friends on there- my best friend that I lost contact with back in 1987? Well I found him on there and now we get to stay in touch. I have the same story for a bunch of other friends too. Plus, there are a bunch of us here on it too, so you get to see what everyone else is doing on the side. And believe me, I'm not a technology geek, but I love it!

I'm with you, Jay. It's all I can do to just have the time for FTE, and I've virtually quit that in the evenings altogether here lately (aside from an occasional drive-by on the weekends).

The only reason I can even get the time I do in the office right now is because i have ZERO work to do. Several client contracts are looming ahead, but the accountant number-crunchers and lawyers in corporate are even slowing things down further if a single word is not "agreeable" in the contract.

Perfect example... I have a good project that will keep me and several others 100% billable for 4-6 weeks, and the client's PO was denied by our corporate group because the name of our division listed on the PO ended with "Inc." instead of "Company". That little drizzle of "applied wisdom" has kept me and several others at ZERO billability for two weeks now!! Talk about being stoooopid!

Sorry... my rant quota for the day has now been exhausted!

It's all good Pete. Gotta hate those bean counters. It's like they are looking for a reason to fail instead of full steam ahead and damm the torpedoes

The storm yesterday afternoon totally went around us right before I went home. Not even a sprinkle. Not supposed to rain today but this is headed toward us right now. Dumb weather people
