It's almost not worth your time to drive 40 miles for an $8.50 job. Other than getting you out of the house, its almost gonna cost you to work for them.

Make sure you have internet access so you can get on FTE when bored!

Thats a great point for sure Mark, didnt even look at that angle. Although it may be nice to get out, and they sound like cool guys, it's probably not the right job.

Yeah I know what I need to do.

The trail period was a great idea..but I am confident they won't go for it. You see the owner's brother is in a hurry to 1) hire a person and 2) do all of the training for a position because he is a heavy equipment operator..and needs to go off and do his own thing. He can't stay there forever. He will not be willing to go for a trial period. He wants to train someone and be done with it.

Oh...excellent point..and I know. It just feels so wrong to turn down a job when I've been without one for so long.

I have no idea what diesel is here right now, around $2.30 something I think. I've been working next door for so long I cant remember the last time I filled up. That and I have the big tank so it lasts forever....
Oh yeah, seeing Ms. Barbie should be a blast...... Nothing like feeling like the ugly ducking in your late 20's. lol.

I have a big fuel tank also but still have to fill up every weekend since big red is the only vehicle that really gets driven in this house.

Need an operator? I'll come out and run it if you'll fly me out and give me food and a place to sleep.

Plus that means I'll only be a couple hours from Ed's house instead of a few days.

Cris, just because she is plastic and dyed doesn't mean she's pretty.
