I'll have to see if I can dig something out. I'm usually the one taking the pics...for a reason.

Same here, I am always behind the camera not in front of it but you have to have at least a few pictures of yourself you can post up!

Yup. As long as icf means unfinished. If not I can look it up in the code book

Yup. Next week's busy all week long though. Did interviews for a position yesterday and will have to do background investigations next week. We've got a Homeland Security exercise next week, I've got to teach at the Academy, firearms qualifications, you name it.

Hey Melissa!
ICF is insulated concrete forms basement. Its like a styrofoam block, then they pump cement into it, and its supposed to be really good because of the styrofoam is insulation and blah blah blah.

As far as I can tell, you would use the same clearances and specs as any other basement, but you would "dig" a path in the styrofoam to run the wire. But I wasnt 100 percent sure.

Not sure if you guys would even have basements like that down there, probably no need for them!

Thanks. I usually take the pics and I'm seldom the subject of them. I've got some more somewhere from some of the stuff I've done at the pre-schools and the elementary school. Every time I do career day with my 5 year old's class, he goes around my duty belt and tells all the kids what everything is.

I have seen that before. You can dig out a path but you have to remember that the wire had to be protected from physical damage. I'll look at the code book this weekend to see if Romex is an approved wiring method for icf.

If you know where you want outlets you can run some ENT (Electrical Non Metallic Tubing) through the block aand terminate it in masonary boxes where you want outlets. I can send you some I have a TON of them at the shop.
