The house on poles is...scary.
That house was just a few miles from The Gulf, right in the middle of hurricane alley. There is no freaking way I'd live there...
i got something done on the truck today too. it finally stopped raining enough to get the Light bar mounted.
i would have done a video, but my phone does not take good video.
anyway, here it is.
federal Jet-Strobe, with 16 strobe heads set in random flash pattern, and front and rear work lights.
total cost for the bar with all new amber lenses was $315.
Remember that stuff I posted a few days ago about Aries people..and endurance? Putting two aries in the same room like that...might be a kiss of death.
I guess I have my blinders on. The D-max's will pull and ride like a Caddy(at least the '06's) compared to my striaght axle PSD but I like the longevity of my truck. I also dont like the IFS frontend(there goes the Caddy like ride). Call it what you will but I've seen alot more problems with a IFS frontend compared to a solid axle. As far as the Dodge...I would own a Cummins but not the rest of the truck. Come to think of it I have owned the rest of the truck, with a 360. Just about everything crapped out on that truck, motor, trans, you name it. That's my .02 on that.
Did I read a post correctly, that there was a F150 highboy, or did I read it incorrectly?

That was me. I was probably misusing terminology.
Basically saying if I had an old F150 Ranger pickup w/the big motor in it, i'd lift it as high as I could.
