Well, the storm has blown through. That was fun 30 minutes or so.
Here's some video of a good lightning strike and the ensuing thunder. The thunder was so loud it shook the house. You'll hear my reaction to it after it boomed.

Reading up on RFID technology as my company has decided to track all of our material and customer relines with it. The implementation project has been given to me.
Very cool so far.
our warehouse is RFID, we have a little over 12,000 SKU's in the warehouse but we have them double slotted in the racks (two to four different pallets of items per slot) It is really cool at night to watch our crew running around on tow motors with their headsets on that tell them which box to pic out of the slot. The RFID system cut our mispicks exponetially. Our company is running at a 99.8% pick rate for 20,000+ cases per night.

My uncle, great man, lived with his mother on my grandfathers farm, huge ford man, could fix ANYTHING, loved auction sales, and antiques, passed away. He lived the farm life, was cutting down a tree and apparantly the tree fell down and either hit him, or fell on him, or something. Getting wood to heat his, and my grandmothers house.
Saddens me very much, I always got along so well with him, and had so much in common with him. Our love of vehicles, passion for fixing thing, and both being a little bit of know it alls. Im gonna miss him very much. I was really looking forward to getting this one old truck from him, and getting lots of parts, tips and advice from him regarding it.
I dont wanna sound to damn mushy/negative on here but damn, im one un happy camper right now.
Sheldon, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sheldon, my thoughts and prayers are also with you and your family. I totally know how you feel when it was an unexpected death. God bless you Brother, Take Care.
Brandon, do you have any idea if the warehouse is set up for SAP? I have no idea what that stands for,but it is basically a bar code scanning system that eliminates all paperwork and tracks each shipment. We are going through the training for 6 weeks is why I ask.
