So I get off work today, stop at the grocery store on the way home, and when I am pulling into my driveway I get a call on my cell from the City of Willis. It's a recorded message that said, "There is a good chance of tornadic activity in Willis/Conroe until 9pm. Please be prepared to shelter in place".
Great. The contractor just finished repairing the last of my Hurricane Ike damage over the weekend. Just in time for the new season I guess.....
Off topic but not really since this is the OT. Did any of you guys see the cover of the new People magazine?
Valerie Bertinelli at 48 years old and looking damn hot I might add.....
C'mon, Ed. You already put that one up in a different thread. But it is enough to confirm the need for a visit to your house.
I know I know, just don't feel comfortable posting my kids pics online. never really know who is out there. But if you really want one send me your email. but if I find it anywhere I will be paying you a visit.

Hi, lets order those springs.
sorry, been home sick last couple of days and didn't feel like doing anything, now I finally got caught up a little here at work, I'm going thru 230 emails. .
yea baby!
hope I didn't miss much, anyone give me the highlights?
Man I was having such a great day today, then it felt like i got booted right in the nuts.
My uncle, great man, lived with his mother on my grandfathers farm, huge ford man, could fix ANYTHING, loved auction sales, and antiques, passed away. He lived the farm life, was cutting down a tree and apparantly the tree fell down and either hit him, or fell on him, or something. Getting wood to heat his, and my grandmothers house.
Saddens me very much, I always got along so well with him, and had so much in common with him. Our love of vehicles, passion for fixing thing, and both being a little bit of know it alls. Im gonna miss him very much. I was really looking forward to getting this one old truck from him, and getting lots of parts, tips and advice from him regarding it.
I dont wanna sound to damn mushy/negative on here but damn, im one un happy camper right now.
Finally checked my email, from a week ago, after getting caught up here(I have time to do that since its been so slow,Ha Ha). Looks like Metallica is hitting the John Paul Jones arena in Charlottesville on Oct. 18.....I'm so hitting that, or at least try to. Scott, you did it after posting those pics of them the other day.
