Hey Sheldon and Jason.

I would not normally buy a Chev but we got a deal we couldn't refuse from my folks.

Im just joking with ya anyways man! Ive had a few chevy's over the years and they were ok. I can tell you that the 350 is one tough engine and will take ALOT of abuse before it dies!

Thats one thing that really switched me over to ford though, I couldnt kill a 302, and I could kill a 350!

That and ive been a ford fan since I was born (most fords anyways!)

350 is a good motor.

My Powerstroke is pretty much the only Ford I'd own though, with few exceptions....and its only a Ford by a far stretch of the imagination. Sorry guys.

Raised around Chevs mostly.

Note to Jay - move to CO. Me & Lisa will be back there within the next year, the scenery is better, and the snow is better. Drivers are probably just as bad though.

This is the first snowfall of the year. Colorado has gotten at least 8 storms, by my count. There could've been smaller ones I never heard about.

They are saying 3-6 for the north end of town. Crazy when Iowa sees more snow year after year than MN though.

I would love to live in CO but I would never get my wife to make the move.

Iowa has some strange weather patterns. They're talking about thundersnow out of this next system. Now, I've heard about thundersnow but I've never experienced it.

Maybe I'll build the 7.3 Bar Ranch out in Colorado and you guys can come stay..

I don't think I had any choice but to buy a Ford. Growing up dad's company had an 88 IDI F350 DRW service box sold for a 2000 7.3 DRW service box, in addition to a 96 F350 7.3 bought new only 60k ever put on it as long as we owned it. It was equipped with a utility body. Those trucks went away when there was BS within the company so dad bought his 2006 6.uhoh DRW service box. As well as a 95 SRW 7.3 soon to get a flatbed on it. My brother's first truck was a 99.5 7.3 PSD XLT reg cab longbed.

All of them were 4x4s set up with towing packages.

So it was only natural I get the truck I've got.

Sorry for the truck talk in the OT just felt like sharing.

Yep, only in Iowa. Thundersnow - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think I'll have to build something. Trying to find some excuse to lure Sheldon and Brent down here to build something for me. Heck if we got enough of us together, it'd be like that home makeover show...built it two days.
