Hey tom, you should google some very low impact exercises. I know they gave some to me when I got my acl done, and they work. Like a stationary bike, its a great workout and very easy on the knees.

Also stretch, every day. It will take about 10-15 minutes to stretch out all your muscles, but give it a few weeks and you will feel like a new man.
