As far as I am concerned, if you can drive and get a job, you're too old to trick or treat.

Why not go to the party? What have you got to lose? Randy wanted to go bar hopping...apparently there is some bus that takes you from bar to bar. Not my cup of tea anymore.

I have a perfectly good first name that only my mother and the government uses. When I hear it, I know that there's some kind of trouble in it for me.

I have Snicker's and Reese's. The leftover's can always go in my lunchbox, I s'pose.

Apparently I was too old to trick or treat by the time I was 11 years old... interesting.

I may go... put the scare into everybody for a bit. It IS Halloween, after all.

Good morning everyone. Had a great day yesterday, I finally have a finished floor in my pole building . It's been a long time coming, six years to the day since we moved in here.

It was also a very l........o.......n.......g dayterday, woke up at 5:30am, went to Menards at 6:30 for a few last minute things, finished setting up for the pour until concrete showed up at 9am, poured from 9 am to noon and spent the next 9 hours finishing concrete/cleaning up, got in the house again at 9:30pm and finally fell asleep at 11:30pm. Then, with the time change, woke up at 5:30 again this morning.

Never had a torn muscle(to my knowledge) but it sounds painful. Hope you recover quickly.

Bounce dryer sheets also help to repel mice, they don't like the smell for some reason.

Congrats on the pour Mike!!

I wish that I had know I would have suggested putting some PVC in the ground for electrical before you did it. I did a pole barn a few years back and ran 1 3/4" and 1 1" PVC to each of the poles from a central location where the electrical panel was going. It made life so much easier and the job so much cleaner too.

Going to post some pics for us?

Thanks Jim, I'm VERY relieved to finally have it done.

That would have been a good idea Jim. At least I have tubing (PEX) in the slab for in floor heat when I get a boiler. I'll probably just use EMT and mount all the boxes on the outside of the finished walls, since I have about 30 double boxes/outlets from a demo job. I did remember to stub in a 2" PVC for electrical service though.

I'll get some pics soon.

Afternoon all! Just got back from the cabin in WV. Did some shooting this morning, and last night the weather worked out just about right. We got there, I started up a fire, then we shut off ALL the lights and I read "true" ghost stories from a book I got from B&N... but they were lame. Doused the fire to go inside for the night around 10PM and 10min later it started pouring down rain. Now I'm doing laundry, checking email, and shortly will soak in the tub and then maybe a nap.

how's everyone else doing today?
