did not say what i was gonna be doing, just be there for 4

not good.
we had a very bad accident on one of the job sites early this morning.
one of the inspectors bent down behind a 20 ton roller rite after it went past him. the operator did not see him, and was at the end of his pass.
he backed up not knowing the inspector was there.
Don, the operator had an anxiety induced heart attack. massive one.
they don't think he is gonna make it.

No worries, I didn't take it seriously. Besides, I'm in a ROCKIN' GOOD mood right now. I just picked up a bumper I had painted black. It needed a dent taken out, a bunch of crappy welds from the rear smoothed on the front side, and then done up in gloss black. I know, I know, it's the OT but I just GOTTA post pics...

Just wanted to update my 2nd family about whats been goin on to me lately.
October 8th I had an interview with the local county govt with a position in their assessor's department. Went well and a week later I got a call for a 2nd interview.
October 22nd I went in for the 2nd interview and found out it was between myself and one other candidate. That interview went well and he said he would let me know the results by the end of this week. Tuesday I get texts, calls, and emails from all my references telling me that he called and asked about me.
WELL...I get the call at 4:22 today and he offered me the job.
Its been 2 years since I graduated and I held on doin odd jobs and contracting until I finally found something I wanted.
Just wanted to share the great news with yall since I really can't hold it in! Ive been smiling from ear to ear for last hour!

We rewireed the pumps and now they workthis truck is a wiring nightmare and has a bunch of wiring issues.

I have 24 yards of concrete coming at 9 tomorrow morning. I hope everything goes well and everyone who said they would help shows up. Could be a long day if they don't. My gut feels like it is going to turn itself inside out, I've been part of many, many larger concrete pours than this, but none of them were coming out of my pocket.

Sorry to hear about your operator, Tom. That's something that everyone dreads.
And some scumbag stole our pressure washer. For those of you who were at the NE Tech day it was the one right inside the door to the barn in the room that had the sink.
They would have had to open the door, walk into the barn, look around for the pressure washer, move the stuff that was on it, and then taken it. Worthless scum thieves...

i am sitting in a crash truck behind a jack hammer crew doing pothole repair.
that sucks about the pressure washer Pete.
but look on the bright side. it gives you an excuse to go to another auction, and buy a bigger better one.

Sorry, I hope I wasn't too bratty. I'm like a little kid. If someone gives me an Indian burn, I have to do it back twice as hard. You should see my sisters and I play Scrabble. We all have good vocabularies, but we have personalities that are polar. It's amusing some of the words we come up with.
Except when my younger sister plays. Best word we got out of her was "Jizz"
