Hey Jay, my weekend was OK, nothing special. The ol lady has the flue, so we didnt do much, went out for supper one night, and basically watched movies the next day/night.

Hey Lis We didnt have one single trick or treater, so yeah I had a couple bags of chips (those small "snack" sized ones) and thats about it. Im not much for sweets, and I know I shouldnt eat that crap so I try not too!

I also noticed you write how much your ol man eats, thats insane, he eats more then I do, and drinks more beers then i do in a month now, in one night lol.
And im no small fella!

Flu..so many people sick.

I'd love to not like sweets. I love that stuff..office is drowning in leftover candy too..its everywhere!

Yeah he can put it away. I was getting worried Saturday night, thinking I was going to have to take him in to get his gut pumped.

After the 4th bowl I told him he wasn't allowed to have anymore, and I would have taken it away from him.

I'm staying away from the sweets. I have one kit kat I am saving for later and that'll be it for me. My one Halloween candy bar. Deal is going good, running after work today..

After that I'm off to the store to get mouse traps. Woke up to the sound of gnawing this morning. Grrr...

How are you doin on our deal? I'm not losing as quickly as id like to so I am going to be more aggressive with my dieting I think.

When I was in shape for triathlons, I didn't eat big meals, I just ate almost constantly. Snack every hour or so, plus 4-5 "normal" meals. My daily intake was something just under 5,000 calories I'd guess, but my morning workout burned ~2400, and then I'd climb with a buddy at night for 3-4 hours. If he ever gets a desk job he'll be in size 50 pants before he's 35.

EDIT: Did I miss the deal details or is this not public info? just being nosy... Since I'm (still!!!) not working yet (waiting for the clearance to come through... zzzzz) I went for an afternoon run. 5.7 miles. I've got the distance part handled OK, but now I need watch batteries to work on my pace.

Im doing good on our "deal"

Not much too it Brendan, just trying to motivate one another to get in better shape!

Ive been running intervals still, seems like im still starting out, but I never was much of a runner. Gonna try throwing some burpees into the mix pretty soon, but Im kinda still waiting for the geothermal guys to finish up. Its very hard to work out downstairs when its so cold!

5,000 cals a day? Holy cow. I'd be a cow if I ate that much. I'd gather I eat somewhere around 1,200 a day...think im taking in too much sugar..in the form of yogurt and fruit. gotta cut some of that out and add in more protein.

I bet its hard to work out in the cold. Brrrr. They have a nice treadmill here at work only problem is the room they have it in has poor ventilation...so I have the opposite problem.

I need to figure out how many calories i take in. I wouldn't be surprised if it was about 3000 calories or greater.

I was burning off 4,000 calories+ daily, so the extra was needed to buildup & repair.

Be careful with the protein too. I was doing the protein shakes without really working out heavy enough to warrant them, just figured it was better & easier than a "normal" meal... man, did that cause me to pack on the pounds quick!!

I MUCH prefer the cold, but then, I create tons of body heat naturally, just standing around. Get me moving.. you might could make s'mores!!

well so far since i got home i ate a smaller sized porkchop(340 calories0 and 2 fruit snack pack(90 calories each) and drank a tall glass of milk(160 calories). 180+340+160=680 calories for a snack about 2hours after I ate lunch at school.
