Thanks for all the good luck...Ill need it!

Sheldon,

Its a job Ive been trying to get into since I graduated with any of the local governments. I will be working in the assessor's office appraising properties and such so you can shell out your hard earned money right back to the government! Entry level job, decent money, 4 10 hr work days, and a cool boss(from what I hear). Paid health care...really would lighten my monthly debts a lot!

I think he said 7, but I couldnt hear him very well honestly. He's supposed to be sending me the pic soon. Its my boy Dylan Lisa, the one with the boat and black truck, that has property in CO.

Vinford was telling me i should come up and moose hunt with him. i would have to have no less than 4 guns when going into the canadian bush. too many stinking bears up there. i would go moose hunting and come home with 6 bears instead. they aint gonna get me. ill die with 4 empty guns.

my grandfather is a bow hunter and he lives in michigan. about 10 years ago he went up to canada and got a black bear with a bow. i asked him if he carried a pistol or anything in case he only pissed the bear off with the arrow and he said youre not allowed to. i called him a crazy old cuss and told him there is NO way i would go with a bow and no back up gun. rules or not!

Bears really arent a problem up here Bill, and you wouldnt want to get caught with a gun when your not supposed to have one. They can take all your guns, your bows, your truck/quad/sled/anything like that. Maybe not JUST if you have gun with you when your not supposed to, but they tie it all together and can really take away alot of stuff!

You dont really need a gun along for bears when your hunting with a bow anyways, just make sure your a good shot lol.

Yea, I agree too. I went to school for it, but I dont have the experience that a lot of places are looking for these days.

Ive got a friend who worked in the planning department and put in a good work to HR and the rest of the assessor's office so hopefully its still 80% who you know and not what you know!

Thanks Brent and Lisa!

It sounds like he got it in Oregon actually. I think he heads to Colorado in about 2 weeks for hunting. I'll email you when I get the picture. Not sure if it belongs in here...

Thanks! You give meaning to the words "road trip" damn thats a long ways... I've never driven that far for "hunting", in my younger days, I drove to Montana for some "hunting" but that was really pushing it. By the time I got to Idaho, I was ready to hunt again.
