Afternoon everybody!!! Just checking in to see what everybody's been up to today. Time to head south to my nephew's HS graduation. He's Valedictorian of his class..WooooHoooo!!!! Way to go Ty! Can't wait to hear him speak!
You all have a great evening and be safe in all your travels this weekend! I'll try to check in later tonight.
And once mom gets home we're leaving for Pennsylvania to go see a Red Sox - Phillies game. That and apparently I've got to do some tree work at my aunt's house. Don't quite know the extent of it, but I'm bringing along the 290 and polesaw along with all necessary items to go with them. (fuel, bar oil, files, wedges, chaps, forestry helmet)
Always easier to have something and not need it than need it and not have it.
Have a good time at the game Pete. Be safe on the roads and cutting those trees down.

My oldest daughter is going with me as well, so I'll have excellent company on the drive... the only trouble with that is that she looks like a 25 year old, is gorgeous, and people look at me like a cradle-robber when they see the two of us together.
I hope everyone else has a great weekend... be SAFE folks!!
Have a safe trip Pete.

Mark, sorry to hear about your test results. I agree 100% with big Pete. Get a second opinion.
Have fun at Clay's everyone that is going. Wish I could have made that work but I am going salmon and trout fishing so I will be leaving work at 12 today. WooooHoooo!
Sounds like a good weekend Jay, have fun. Should be a perfect weekend for it too.

I'll be the cradle-robbing driver if you want Pete.
People with low humidity will never understand that argument.
120* is hot I will give you that. Still, with low humidity you can at least go outside and stay dry.
As someone who has experienced both high humidity and 0% humidity and extremely hot temperatures, I must play the devil's advocate here.
You guys are right, 100% humidity at 100 degrees is ridiculous and stifling. HOWEVER, 120 degrees and 0% humidity will steal the breath right out of your body. The air is so dry, it sucks the moisture out of you within minutes. People in Colorado die every year from heat exhaustion and dehydration.
I myself almost prefer more of a humid hot over a dry hot. Sure, you sweat, but at least it doesn't feel like a blow dryer in your lungs every time you breath.

Ya I can take 110 or 115, even 120 F when there is some moisture.
Unfortunately here when its those temps its DRY and it wipes you out.
I seriously need to drink water every couple minutes if outside on those days.
Was in Mexico, and it was 115 F but the air was moist, and all I did was sweat a little....Sweating I can take, gasping for air and the throat burning sucks.
I have almost forgot what hot weather and high humidity is like but guess I will try it for hopefully no more than a week next week
Gonna leave some time tomorrow
