My youngest son Bradyn has been in the hospital since yesterday with severe dehydration from the flu, or some other gastrointestinal bug. He can't keep anything down for more than a couple hours at a time. We were hoping he would be able to come home tonight but it's looking more like tomorrow morning at the earliest. I've never seen him this way and it really hurts that I can't take the pain he is feeling away from him.

Found out it isn't the flu, it's a bacterial infection. He has some meds for it now. Around 6 tonight he was a lot happier and more energetic than I've seen him since Tuesday afternoon.

I just got a phone call from the place that I interviewed on Thurdsay. I made it to the final 2! I have the 2nd interview Monday at 10 am.
Even if I don't get this job I will be satisfied that I gave it my best shot. Hell out of 200 applicants I make it to the 5 that they interview and out of the 5 I make it to the final 2.
So maybe next time this week I will be actually employeed.

And that's known as jump turning or jump steering just so you know. Takes a fair bit of coordination if you're doing it while you're moving instead of having to stop first.
