I'd melt. It was 67 here at the highest today. Perfect weather.

Thanks for the link to the camera Mark! It was an interesting day, my phone has been ringing non stop and I got called to a job so no camera shopping...soon though.
I just like being able to work my **** off and not get a headache! Heat and I dont get along very well. Im native to Wa, so much over 85-90 starts to hurt. Once I've been in eastern washington for a bit I get used to it (completly different climate) then I'm okay..

I agree. I would be a very happy woman if it never got above 75.
I love this time of year. When it's cool, but mild enough to still wear tank tops...
How was Maine's summer? I was in Michigan's UP for the month of July and it was cool sweatshirt weather. Save for one day when it got hot and humid. Then we picnic'd, canoed and played baseball with the kids. With that only exception, it was more like a SoCal winter. That meaning it was very pleasant, but not warm enough to swim in the freezing Lake Superior!

We had a very wet summer. June 26/30 days it rained. July was close behind. August was much better... so we had 3 weeks of summer, I think. Total.
That is great Jim. Glad the interview went well. You know we are all pulling for you!
Edit: Oink! Oink! Chris

We received a notice in the mail about my 26' trailer being an "eye sore" to the neighbors, and today a card from one of them, written to my mom but acknowledging that they know it's my trailer. What really irritates me is that not one of them came up to the door and asked me to move it. Not one. Ever. The one that wrote the card I spoke to personally months ago and he said it didn't bother him in the least. I HATE COWARDS. I had to go for a short run first so now I'm off to shower then dinner, but I had to rant a little.
It was perfect here, around 78 or so. Felt nice with a 60 mph breeze
Im literally 30 min away, say the word and just point to who it is and Ill take care of them. Hell you could just send me the address of the guy, that way if anything happens you can say "Ive never seen that guy before in my life" lol

Chris, you lucky SOB getting to take the hog out!
Brndan, that sucks, but is typical. I hardly get people that say stuff to my face either. That or they talk down to my ol lady when shes dealing with stuff, then I come along and they change their tune fast. That always makes me laugh, but at the same time is still really stupid. Ah well, some peoples kids!
Brendan we've got people like that around here too.
Our neighbors next house up from us (no neighbors across) are constantly whining and complaining about us.
When dad is real busy he sometimes stops home with the big truck (tractor trailer) when he comes home to eat. The neighbors left an "anonymous" note for us one day. To quote them when we leave the truck on the street it "devalues the neighborhood."
Of course they didn't write that until they realized the cops didn't and couldn't have a problem with it. It was within the legal distance of the curb so they can stuff it. After a while dad was on a first name basis with the officer. They'd come out because they need to respond to every call so they'd BS with dad for a couple minutes and leave.
There is a big (15'+ tall) hedgerow between their yard and ours. We are down-hill from them so their water runs to our yard. We put in a drain to catch the water that ran off their yard and washed out ours. That worked great until the wife next door decided to dig a little ditch to direct the water away from her garden and that directed it into one of my mom's gardens. So we took a little dirt and made a berm next to the hedgerow to direct the water towards the drain instead of through the garden to the drain over there. Well the guy comes over hollering about how we're gonna kill his trees (the hedgerow) and his friend is a zoning officer and blablabla. So he was told he better STFU and go home or we'll cut every dang branch that overhangs the property line and hurry the process along. he went home.
By the way when they were putting an addition on their house they had a dumpster in the street for almost a month. Did anyone complain? Nope. But a truck in the street for 3 hours requires a police presence apparently.
