I've been pulling some 14 hour days all last week and then I went to Yakima to help in a project that my church is involved in.

Later on we found a cement mixer in the shed, lol.

I'll be helping the police today, trying to find a missing 5 year old girl that has been missing since last Sunday. She lived about a half miles from me.

I used to shovel my neighbors driveway for years....she had a perfectly good snowblower in tha garage but was afraid I would hurt myself using it...
I was really happy when I was able to get a 4xford with plow!

Hey Ed! Doing well. Got in here late after finishing the chores list...haha. If you wanted to come to VA, I'd do anything I could to help you out buddy! Bad thing is that he got the dreaded letter from GM telling him they aren't going to renew his franchise after October 2010. Thankfully it is completely separate from the Ford store so it won't affect it. He is a full line GM dealer though and it's going to hurt a lot of people around here when GM closes him down.

That sucks, well I hope he can move some of his people from the Chev store to the Ford store.
I haven't been unemployed for over 25 years, I have a plan now so if plan A does not work out then I will start my own parts web site and work from home. Just got to work out the heatlh insurance.
I feel much better thinking about this, they took away my job not my skills and not my contacts and certainly not my desire to suceed.
I am afraid not everyone knows I'm not there as it looks like people are still placing orders. theres 6 there right now.
I think they will just stay there in limbo and no one will process them.

Boy Ill tell you what this GM debacle is hurting a lot off things. Bankruptcy or the threat off it really casts a cloud over the whole auto industry. Lots off dealers going by the wayside an jobs lost. Very difficult time for sure. Hope things look up from here on out. The high priced fuel off last summer is still having an impact on the economy.

Afternoon peeps!!! Been sleeping late and keeping late hours for the past several nights. Starting back on midnight shift after 7 months of not having to work it won't be easy so I'm trying to prepare myself. How is everybody doing today?

took the pup out for a walk about 7 am...then went to the pet store for food and treats.
got one of the kong toys that you fill with a peanut butter paste that comes in a can like cheeze whiz. She spent an hour with that!!
I made a salad (need to go to fryes for a tomato) and I have a steak to bbq!

Yep...12 hour shifts. The good part is that we only work 14 days a month. Unfortunately, during those 14 days, about the only things you have time for are work and sleep. Everything in VA is good. Had one heck of a thunderstorm last night but it's about 80 and sunny out now.
