...You're the better man for the Job Pete. Wish we could hire someone to take care of the mess who actually knows what they are doing. I just muttle my way through certain things, in the end I do it for my own selfish reasons to make my job easier.
I have to admit, Lisa, that it's my own selfish desire for making my own life easier that motivated me to do take the same approach. I simply got tired of having to manually crunch so many numbers and do repetitive tasks that I learned how to automate them with a few keystrokes. I think a lot of efforts to "improve efficiency" end up being driven by a deep-seated desire to not have to work so hard.
If it's causing you that many problems, Tom, I can sympathize. Probably the best way I can help you is to let you donate the tuner to me and that will solve all your problems. Just let me know if you need my mailing address, and I'll be more than happy to cover the shipping costs for you.
the problem with fixing stuff like that is they give you more work and expect you to make it easier....just about the time you get everything the way you like it....they terminate your employment because they no longer need you...
poor tom...all that stuff was ready to break anyways...you just were able to fix it while it was still warm out!
Jim...repeat after me...
Yes, that is my truck...No, I will not help you move...
That is usually my response Mark. But these people watch JL before and after school for me, and refuse to take any money. It is not a big deal now but when I do find a job it will be a huge help to me.

no problem Pete, i will send the F5 chip rite out to you.
as soon as the new F6 chip with the 180hp race tune comes in.
Okay, It has been a brutal three weeks between work and home, and it has done nothing but cost money and drove me nuts with the many different repairs that I have had to go through, as I type this, I am waitng for a group to show up with Jack hammers to tear up my basment floor to replace a pipe that runs under it..So, I submit
My Resignation:
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have
decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of a 5 year-old
again.
I want to go to McDonald’s and think that it’s a four-star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a road with
rocks.
I want to think Smarties are better than money because you can eat
them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and make lemonade with my friends on
a hot summer’s day.
I want to run around with bare feet all day.
I want to bake cookies and sell them at the gate.
I want to wait for my Dad to come home from work - what is this place
called work?
I want to return to a time when life was simple. When all you knew
Were colours, numbers up to ten, (and to count higher meant lifting your
arms above your head), and nursery rhymes.
Not knowing answers didn’t bother you, because you didn’t know what you
didn’t know and you didn’t care.
You didn’t have to bring home the bacon, and you didn’t even have to
eat it if you didn’t want to.
You spoke only the truth, didn’t care who heard you have a tantrum, and
you cried when it hurt. And when it hurt, someone kissed it better and
put a Band-Aid on it.
All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all
the things that now make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.
I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly
excited about the little things again.
I want to live simple again. I don’t want my day to consist of
deadlines, computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news,
how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank,
doctor bills, other bills, gossip, Illness and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in Father Christmas, the Easter bunny, the tooth
fairy, the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace,
dreams, the imagination, mankind, and flying a kite.
So. Here’s my cheque book and my car keys, my office keys, my credit
card bills and all my statements. I am officially resigning from
adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you’ll have to catch me first,
cause…Tag! You’re it.

I know its not mine, but I want to use it today...
Nice post Pat, and I think I'd like to be 5 again too. Although, I still run around barefoot a lot...still believe in hugs, and I still believe anything is possible, with enough work and, God willing.
I reminded myself today why I don't go to malls. Talk about a bunch of crappy people with crappy attitudes....and I didn't even find what I was looking for.
