Ed, does Nick's number have an 847 area code? I think he tried to call me the other day, but at the time I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.

How about, I take pictures of whatever I come home with. This is a different type of gun show...a little bit rough, most of these guys wear leather and camo and probably have more war medals in the closet than I have shoes. Not sure how they'd feel about me snapping pictures of the guns they're selling.

Mostly just going for supplies...some new or gently used brass for the Marlin, maybe some 500 supplies if anyone has anything.

We have a few coyotes around here but they never get brave enough to come close enough to shoot. I had a Newfoundland he was 220 lbs. I miss that dog so much.

Stick around, I'll show you how its done. I got a rep to protect and managerial supervisional skills to keep honed and sharp.

You never know when you might have to whip out some supervisory skills, people keep wanting to work around me so got to stay in top form in case I have to watch them.

slackers!

It was a couples thing last night Ed...me and the bottle of wine

You forget to add "chair appropriation skills" to that list. I still laugh when I think about the people that told me that you left your chair at their site at RRE.

I want to borrow Nick for a weekend. After he and Clay and Mark came to visit, I decided Nick would be a great kid to have around. I'd let him loose in my garage and as long as I fed him his required 5,000 calories a day, I think he'd enjoy himself.
That kid is unreal. I have told him many times in the past that if his parents don't want him I will adopt him in a heartbeat.

Like many of you I have a list of things I NEED to do, and a list of things I WANT to do. The acre needs mowed Truck needs stuff laundry needs done fridge needs cleaned I have a book to read, and memorize, test on the 21st. I think I'll wait until 2 days before the test to do that, just like college.

Considering going to a gun show instead

You know Ed, it takes a special kind of person to be managerial: an extreme desire to not do a damn thing. You also need a special knack for blaming others (or taking credt) for their work, based on the outcome of the job.
I'd go to the gun show

When I here special and Ed in the same sentence this comes to mind

Yeah I know that I posted it before......

YOU WILL LOVE THE LOCA MOCA, I'm going to have another one.

No haven't even listed it, I'm going to. I want a truck that I can put a camper on and tow the Quads. I was looking on Craig's list and all the 99-03 7.3L were still a little higher price then what I want to pay.

but a 94,97, and a few very clean looking 87, 89's were in the range I want to spend.

Can I still be in the club Clay if I got a earlier year truck? hahaha

Randy can call me any time, I'll have him so pumped up about Jeeps you will have mine in your driveway in no time, and I can go buy a truck.

I should have, I woke up in my freaking chair at 12 and went to bed, and woke up about 3.

I'm so going to have to take a little nappy time today.

I know the type, and trust me I work my fingers off at work(can't say butt cause what I do is all mental) my boss wants to clone me.

I hate Managers that are so SUB-PARR lazy rat s.o.b's, vacation money stealing, lying, overwork you, and never appreciate you for the work you do type people.

I talked with the wifey last night and she looking for three people to hire in her office, I think some 20 people work for her now and she needs more. I guess there is no recession in the medical field.

As LONG as its a 7.3, you're good with our group. I would prefer we get you a 99 or newer though, so we can make it into a real monster. OBS trucks have certain limitations and you gotta swap out a lot of stuff to get to the point to where you can successfully mod.

Have you ever thought about looking outside of your area? You know you have a lot of diesel head friends all over the country. If you put out a public service announcement and tell us what you're looking for, we'll find you the best truck for the money. And what is your price range?

We will not have your Jeep in our driveway, sorry to disappoint. Only reason we have the one MOPAR we do have is because it was Randy's grandfather's Jeep and it is special to him.

Ill be honest, I actually like the ride and look of the obs 7.3's but the engines are much nicer like Lisa said.

I have a few of those 87-96 trucks, and that front bench seat is like a couch, they are comfy!

if all was perfect in the world I would like to have a 2001 4x4 F250 CREW CAB Lariat , I'm not sure if long or short bed? as long as I can get a camper on it that I can sleep in I'm good.

I really don't want to pay more then 10k total with a camper, but thats proby asking to much in the real world. But since this is fantasy land.

There is got to be someone out there that is sitting on the exact truck and camper pkg I want.

people get crack'n lets find me a truck, PS help me sell my Jeep to.

Might even trade?

I told pops I might even sell the 77 F100, he is cool with it but that baby is sweet.

But I need something I will use more often.

Slacker slave boy just called, I have to go pick him up at the Poodle Dog restaurant.

i'm going to have so much fun today, slave master! I like the name.

Comfy, yes, but I do like the power & creature comforts of my 99. My first truck was an 88 F350 CC Dually with the 7.3 & 5-speed. Granny gear was so low that when I was selling her, I put her in first, got going, then stepped out of the truck & walked next to her down the street.

Like Lisa said... give us an idea of your top 3 "combos" - price & config. Say, your #1 pick would be a 99.5 7.3 auto SC LB 4x4 in green for $10k and under 170k miles. We'll get to looking and find you a good 'un. OH YEAH... I just saw an all-white 2000-ish CC Short-box Dually in my sister's neighborhood. I can go look at it if you like, just say the word.

Whats up folks? Been busy these last few weeks getting ready for hunting season and found a new hobby, besides drinking (there has been plenty of that) I'm building my own trail cameras now. I got tired of them crapping out after one season and after checking out some forums on homebrew trailcams I dont think I will ever buy another factory made one again.

ok I'll trade straight across, but you are getting a better deal then you know.

done, I said. dont try and back out now. a deal is a deal..

lol

I like the truck, to be honest something doesn't look right about the camper on that truck. maybe the top overhead to short? but like you said its a little older and doesn't leak. If it does just take it down and have it line-x'ed I hear that is the hot ticket.

i'm out, I have to go get slacker boy.
