Some people give me a hard time about wanting a diesel tractor..especially in colder temps. Hey man that is what spray ether is for. I thought it'd be fun to find an old broke down 3000 or 5000 and buy it cheap and tear it apart and try and rebuild it one piece at a time. I know my diesels pretty well but my tractor knowledge needs work, hopefully I'd figure it out as I went.
ether is BAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We NEVER use ether on my uncles farm the tractors get addicted to it. block heaters and a heated shop and the tractor will always start up every time.
Bad thing is...her husband is a cop too...well a 2 timing cop...lol
dude, they all cheat. My wife was the crime reporter for the press enterprise in Riverside, she knew every cop in town and wifes and their girlfriends and when every single one of them hit on her she would just tell them which one should I tell your wife or your girlfriend that you are hitting on me? She got a lot of respect real quick and they really never hit on her much after that.
Have I ever mentioned I love Canada?? lol At least 1000 times I think.
EDIT- Hey Ed, we'll have those beers soon, I'll find a way down there. Gotta get lostmybeer to come over too...
SWEET, if there was one thing I would like to do more then anything else it would be replace my windows and a little itty bitty drywall repair. lol
we better hurry, Tom(lostmybeer) says he maybe moving to AZ! pm me and i'll give you a few details.
we can have a mini GTG at my house! party party party.
I just had a phone screen for a job that is 3 miles from home! Well... sorta a phone screen.. after literally one minute the guy says "we need a face-to-face to make this happen. when are you free next week?"
i soooooo want a job & paycheck!!! I've got plans for the stereo in Nyx, then in the Pissant too... enough truck talk... i'm gonna buy TOYS after that!!!

Oh comon! What if I don't have a heated shop, and do all diesel tractors come with block heaters?

maybe... depends on the words-per-minute he can achieve... get over 25wpm and I'd be impressed...

I have no doubt that with your skills & intelligence you'd easily find a way to retrofit something to it. but that brings a question to mind - are these tractors air or liquid cooled? air-cooled would be tougher to fit a heater to I'd imagine, since engine oil would drain to the pan.... hmmm..
So Tristan has a thing for a copper..that's so interesting! Tristan ever heard the song "it hurts so good?"
Careful. I bet she likes top.
I won't be complaining. I went over there wondering if her husband would drive by and "stalk" her, but I didn't care too much later on in the night. He would probably key the hell out of my truck, but I know he wouldn't mess with me. She came home yesterday and her mother and brother were changing the locks on her own house. I guess its pretty serious...

I believe it. I have 6 friends that are cops. I KNOW 4 of them have cheated on their significant other in the past. The one I'm talkin to has done it, but not after she became a cop. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of her in her uniform! lol

You can use wd-40 I believe. I think most of the newer ones have glow plugs, or at least all the ones Ive used. My dads is 20yrs old and doesnt have to big of a problem starting the the winter unless the fuel gells.

Most up here do, and they need to! Ether is a little tougher on the engines, but if you use it in moderation, those old engines can handle it. Its just better not to use it if you dont have to. (chris is right about the wd-40 too)Sometimes a gas tractor is nice in the cold (yeah It hurts to say that lol)

Hell yeah! If that guy starts messing with you, I would be tempted to come on down and give ya a hand with him. I cant stand when someone uses their authority or position to bully others. Makes me want to use my strength/speed to bully them back (I know its not the best thing to do, but someones gotta bully the bullies!)
Actually that would be fun if me and chris came up. we could have a contest to see who could be the worst @ss hole to that guy haha.

Ahh...perhaps. And good question, like I said I am a tractor foamer but I don't know a lot about them.

She'll be alright, she knows how to protect herself.
And on the 2nd point, I don't buy it for one minute that police officers have a higher rate of infidelity than the general public.
I think people just take notice when someone who is supposed to be of superior moral fiber goes out and cheats on their spouse.
Of course, with any other groups of people, you have the rotten apples who do all of the above and make all the others look bad.
You hear lots of stories about officers being "bad" because its noteworthy. Who takes notice of a good cop who is just doing his/her job? No one, because its his/her job to be a good cop and it is expected.
Just my .02
