I've owned my truck outright since last December. DMV took the RI title when I went to register it and said they'd mail me a CT title. I'm still waiting for it. And they wouldn't let me keep the RI title either.
So I have had no truck title since end of July and I don't like it.
Anyways that's my rant for now.

Isn't that what you are supposed to do? I hate the yuppies that have to get a new vechicle every two years.

yes. I've had 3 vehicles since I was 15 (not counting my plow truck and project). First one got totaled in the ice storm we had. Second I sold last year after 11 yrs, and now I have my 'ploder.

I made my final truck payment this past May... man oh man is it nice not having a vehicle payment!!
My older sis & her hubby get a new minivan after 2 years simply because it was either spend it on a new vehicle to get the write-off, or send it to the gov't. Trust me, they're not yuppies; though he does drive an '07 Duramax. At least he admits mine is better suited for heavy work, but he'd outrun me all day long.

Mine will turn over 200k here in a few thousand miles. Might have to ready the camera so I can get a shot of the odo.
