I missed that 4 for the price of 3 sale a while back..I was hoping they'd do it again. I like the pro comp lift, everything else is holding up fine.

I had a good day. I moved the mobile home to the other part of my yard today, it was alot of work, but nice to get it moved, and now my yard looks totally different with it not there. Before the mobile was kinda in front of the house, and no its just house.
Just a nylon gun case, and some brass. Booooorrriiiiing. Actually I'd never buy a gun at a gun show. Never know what its history has been, really.
I did see one of these out in the parking lot:
I've now decided I want one because I could fit it in the back of my truck. haha
So, how do you go about moving a mobile home, and how did you do it by yourself? Whats the temperature been like there?
Very true about not knowing the history of a gun. Ive bought a couple guns when I was younger that I look back now and think maybe I shouldnt have bought. One was a cheap cooey .22 that I still have, and the other was a 22-250 I think remington, and I ended up selling that one. Ah well live and learn right!
Moving the mobile.. well we had to take all the cribs out that we had installed under there to level it up, and then we had to put the hitch on the back of a truck, then tow it. It was actually pretty easy in concept, just took alot of physical work. We had to take all the skirting off, move all that crap to the side, then jack up the front of the mobile (used the backhoe but would barely lift it) remove the cribs, then blocked up the front of the hitch.
I tried to lower the trailer hitch to the back of my PSD, but I chickened out and used the dump truck. Lots of slow gentle turns, and I got it backed in out of the way.
When i was younger I actually worked as a building mover laborer for a summer, so i learned a little bit, actually remembered some of it, and used it.
they are deffinatly different, but I like my ollie better
Im not so sure that I like em. I have a buddy (well kind of a buddy) that collects them, and he loves them! I think they are good tractors, just ugly as hell haha.
I actually really like the older JD stuff the best, but I do enjoy all kinds of old tractors, even the ever so popular MH 44's, and ford 8 and 9 n's!
Interesting Sheldon. Better to use the dump truck than hurt the PSD, I would agree with that decision. Shoulda videoed the move, I woulda liked to have seen that.
I'm in love with the old 2cyl Deeres. I want an A so badly it's not even funny. The hand clutch may not be terribly practical when you're backing up hay wagons, but it's just so cool!
Ya know Lisa, I was thinking of it, but in all honesty it was pretty boring with the dump truck. I mean it was so slow going, alot of back and forth to angle the trailer ever so slightly.

Yeah they are pretty neat hey? I drove an ar not long ago with the hand clutch, and I love em!
To whoever is interested, check out my photobucket, theres lots of my uncles old tractors in there.

I love the way the old 2 cyls pop.
I had a JD b but me and my dad sold it before we got the ollie I think, that tractor was a pain in the ***.i cant believe I just said that
The farm I worked at had an A it was great on the tedder and the rake, but I'd always try to steal the Super M for moving wagons for unloading. It's a PITA to try to reach forward for the hand clutch while tryin to look over your shoulder at the guy giving you directions.
I just really love the sound of the old 2 cylinders. That old A we had just wouldn't die.
