I wasnt friends with him when I hired him, we kinda became friends since I know no body down here. Hes my age and is going to school to me a mechanic so we got along pretty well. I did have to teach him about the 7.3 though, Ford didnt want to teach him that much about it.
Gotcha! Still sucks either way...just come to work on time...not that difficult! No one teaches about these old reliable dinosaurs anymore! Im surprised some folks even know about em these days. I like my loud, reliable 7.3! lol
Jay please tell me you are watching the tv show and not sitting at some bar watching WWF meets midget guy wrestling!
Well Holland is at camp. She wanted me to use google maps so I would make sure she got there and I wanted to use atlas. I pacified her and we ended up 70 some miles out of our way. I was pissed thinking we were going to be late but then we discovered we went to CST instead of EST and so we were actually an hour ahead of time. Woot Woot. But she is gone for the week and she has a show on saturday which her dad will be there to see. She is 13 years old and been riding since she was baby and he has NEVER seen her ride. Just wasn't important. He had no intention of going until he found out Jim was planning on being there (and sadly his plans were drastically changed) and so suddenly her dad decided he was going to go. So bittersweet she is bummed over jim but content her dad will finally watch her jump. Get this...she will finally get to jump her 5 1/2 foot tall jump course! That will be amazing.
All the way to camp (2 hours) we argued about motorcycle and horse back riding dangers. It was getting so morbid but funny as hell. I was trying to win my case for a bike and she was trying to win her case for me to not have one.
My 59 is off the flat bed. OMG it could not get any funnier. My SIL wanted me to push slow and I didn't hear him and I put back against front and feet on trailer front and gave it my all and the trucks went flying and all the kept it from careening full speed down a hill onto highway were his spools of cable he had sitting on sidewalk. We are still unsure of what part of "go slow" did I not understand. It was crazy funny. Or as Jim would say "wicked funny" But some pics are about to be posted to my album. Holy cow it needs work.
Cris that is what happens when you have a talent everybody needs. It is like with the horses..everyone wants to learn to ride, have me bring horse to parties etc. (kids parties guys kids parties) It is okay though.
Wait? You mean everyone doesn't talk like that, Moose? Well it looks like I'll be in for some ribbing from the southern folks at RR East. Well at least there will be a few of us north-easterners there and not just Jim and myself.
Can anyone tell me if you plug in an external monitor to a laptop, does it start working right away, or do you have to hit some buttons on the computer to make it recognize the new display?
Trying to figure out what's wrong with my daughters laptop. You can hear the computer come on, but the screen stays black. Plug in an external display and boot up, still nothing. Plug in the external display to my laptop and it doesn't work either. Just need to know if the old monitor is broke or if I'm dealing with operator error.
The exact key sequence depends on the brand of laptop. Typically, there will be a button labeled "Fn" in the lower left corner of the keyboard. Also, one the "Function Buttons" (F1, F2...F12) will have either CRT/LCD or a box-type logo that's supposed to represent a monitor on it. Hold the "Fn" key, and tap the corresponding Function button (F8 on the Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop I'm currently using). You may need to press it several times, but wait a few seconds between each press to give the monitor time to respond.
