Part VI
LOL.... No wussing out here, Brad!! I was sore for a couple days, but I'm all good now. I was working out pretty hard back a few months, so the soreness was over pretty quick. Highly recommend the program!!

(I know JL might be reading this).I was doing this with my wife and working overtime, there was no way I could do it and keep up with work.I was dead on my feet from the workout.Yes I know I wussed out.

Subject: Survivor, Texas Style
Due to the popularity of the "Survivor" shows, Texas is planning to
do one
entitled, "Survivor, Texas-Style."
The contestants will all start in Dallas , then drive to Waco ,
Austin ,
San Antonio , over to Houston , then down to Brownsville . They will
then proceed up to Del Rio , El Paso , Midland , Odessa ,Lubbock , and
Amarillo .
From there they will go on to Abilene , Fort Worth , and, finally,
back to Dallas .
Each will be driving a pink Volvo with bumper stickers that read: "I'm
Gay," "I Love the Dixie Chicks," "Boycott Beef," "I Voted for
Obama,"
"George Strait Sucks," "Hillary in 2012," and "I'm here to confiscate
your guns."
The first one to make it back to Dallas alive, wins.

2006 FORD F350 4x4 CREW CAB A REAL MANS TRUCK
One Deere piece. A 490E.
The majority of our equipment is, unfortunately, Dresser.
4 Dresser machines. 2 530 loaders (3 yard loaders) a TD25G (73,000 lb dozer. Approx D8 equivalent) and a TD7H (D3 or D4 equivalent)
CAT is my preferred brand. Deere is a close second. If we're talking excavators then Hitachi and Deere are tied since they're the same. Maybe Hitachi would be a hair above Deere for the better fuel economy.
Nick: That is absolutely hillarious. That guy has WAY too much free time on his hands though.

As far as excavators I like komat'su 350 or 400.There quick, smooth and good on fuel.Just not as tough as cat or Johndeer.

2006 FORD F350 4x4 CREW CAB A REAL MANS TRUCK
On the '06, that is very close to what I want as my next truck. F350, check. 4x4, check. Low miles, check. But I want a King Ranch, if I can find one...
On another note, I just caught up on the last several pages... Good stuff.
Biggest machines we need are in the 70,000-80,000lb range.
We're working on trying to save up for a D6 in the future. It'll be like $125,000 for an 04 or 05 with 3,000 hours on it. We want one with a 6 way blade since it is easier to achieve a final grade with a 6 way than with a semi-U.
We're trying to get a job hauling material from the dredging of a town reservoir. If all goes as planned it could be a 1,000,000$ job.
I've got dad convinced that if we get it we will need to lease a new D6LGP since the material will be wet and sloppy.
Here's the kitty.
