Your children bite? My wife and I would not allow our kids to bite even people they knew, let alone total strangers. Nowadays that could lead to lawsuits.
My youngest daughter 3 is my little bull dog she will let her older sisters push her around tell she has enough, then she bites.and she get in trouble for it.Never has bitten anyone else.

Today's final was in Circuit analysis.. we are building/studying/analysing circuit boards.. we have to be able to calculate and measure the voltage, current, power, and whatever else anywhere on it.. as well as be able to build one.. Luckily, we were only doiing DC this term.. the real fun is next term with AC..

Ok, that makes more sense! My longest exam was a little over 3 hours and it was managerial enconomics. I hated that class with a passion.
Ive got a buddy thats in school for electical engineering. Hes gotta be the smartest dumb person alive! No common sense but book smart like no other. I asked him when he planned on graduating since hes been in school for goin on 6 years now...this is all for his bachelors!
Snowed today here in Willis Texas. I couldn't believe my eyes. Came out of the grocery store and my front bumper deck was covered with white stuff. It has stopped for now but could come back as tonight we are supposed to get down into the 20s here.
I have a fire going in the fireplace and I'm making dinner. Ahhhhh......
That will have no bearing on it. After reading Jeremy's comments in the last O/T I felt like I'd been gut kicked. All my efforts go into keeping it smooth in this forum. If one thread getting moved (not edited or deleted, just moved) is enough to drive people away......well, I don't have any interest in even attempting to deal with that.
Scott, please don't take my actions as a personal attack against you...that makes me sad. In fact, you're one of the main reasons I really like this place. I think you do an excellent job of keeping things smooth and fun here in the 7.3 section. I sincerely apologize if my comments hurt you. That was not at all anything I would have wished to happen, and I'm sorry if it did.
It's certain things that are done, not of your doing or control at all, and some things that have gone on since the ownership change that frustrate me. I don't, can't, and won't ever begin to have ill feelings toward you and what you do here. Scott, you are a great man, and a wonderful moderator. You personally did nothing that upset me.
The moving of one thread would not have done it, but it's the culmination of several things that have happened. It would have been nice to see a post in that old OT, when it was moved, with regards as to why it was moved. I think that would have saved a lot of uproar. Probably not all of it, but at least not as severe. It was like our OT suddenly got repo'd, without warning, even though we had been paying the bill...it didn't make sense and upset a lot of people.

Now I'm off to find my brain!!
Ahh the smell of school! OR is that Scott's fireplace?
Anyhow, a 5 hour final - thats a doozie. I miss school and exercising my brain to the max.
Technical question: how do I change the little tagline next to my supporter badge?
This really works...!
If you don't believe it, just try this experiment.
Put your dog and your spouse in the trunk of the car for an hour.
When you open the trunk, who is really happy to see you?
Haha man that was priceless, I think Im gonna try it! Im betting my dog Lily will be the one happy to see me haha.

And yeah, its either an animal or a liar by saying I aint one! I made my choice haha.
Ok I give up on trying to quote the last 6 pages, but it feels good having to read 6 pages to get caught up
You can build your own house far cheaper than any of those I saw you post. Go get 30 or 40 acres, then find out what it's gonna cost to get electric out there, and a rough idea about the price of a well and you're ready. Randy must have went to the same school as me. Or at least took common sense 101.
Ummm... you might want to re-read what you wrote Mark. Kinda looks like you're saying Lisa has no common sense, which is definitely the opposite of the impression I've gotten. Home purchases are emotional, more so for some than others.
Out of curiosity, you've mentioned the thousands and thousands of dollars you spent on cars, racing, etc. in years past. How does that fit with "Common Sense 101" or compare to (potentially) Lisa's heart deciding her house purchase? Houses tend to appreciate in value. Where's your car money?
I'm not saying I'm any better than anyone with my spending habits, but that wording was a bit on the rough side. I firmly believe that you had the best of intentions, but I'd say you missed the mark a bit on that one my friend.

Long gone!! I probably did not grow up until I was about 50. What's bad about that is all of my really high earning years were behind me by then. I had to be the first "kid" on the block with I don't care what they came out with. In fact it was not all that long ago that I had the first Plasma TV of all the people I knew. The first automatic satellite dish on my RV of everyone I knew. I don't think I've grown up yet. I was trying to get across to Lisa that buying an old house is buying a lot of very drafty expensive problems.
