I have had a headache for the past 3 days and nothing will take the pain away. I thought I was maybe getting a sinus infection (never had one) so I went and got some meds and they don't help. I have tried HeadOn and it just burned my forehead. Took a percocet last night and that didn't even take the pain away, I just didn't give a crap about the pain. LOL. Today I have taken 2400mg of ibprofen and one dose of sinus stuff. The pain is in the center of my forehead. Anyone have any suggestions on what else I could take??? I need help, I can't deal with this that much longer. I feel like I am going to rub a hole in my forehead from rubbing it so much to make the pain go away.
Jeez Cris I feel sorry for you there. I have taken up to 4000 milligram of Ibuprofen within a 4 hour period for tooth pain before. Percocet will do squat for a headache, but you can take enough of them to where you don't care if you have a headache............LOL...........Just be real careful.
You mean you are supposed to sleep with your spousenow someone tells me........
I have increased my fluid intake, so thats not it. My neck is also sore and my temp is up to about 99*, I usually am 97* (I am cold blooded). Other than that no other symptoms. I am at a loss and hate to go to the doctor.
Lisa I would suggest getting a 1990s to 2000s utility tractor. You are getting more tractor for the money compared to the sub-compact tractors. If you don't mind Lisa could you tell me what your ideal price range for the tractor is, what you are going to use the tractor for, what extras you want(ex: cab, 4-wd, mower, rototiller, ect.) how far are you willing to drive to pickup the tractor.
Jacob, for starters, $12,000 is WAAAY outta my price range. Take off one of those zeros and then we can talk. I bought my truck for $13,000 and even that was painful.
Jacob the tractor will just be used for hobby farm purposes, maybe for pushing a little snow around. I'll only be farming a few acres, nothing big. I'd like to use it to pull a mow deck too, or some type of lawn-cutting attachment. 4wd would be good, so would a tiller. Cab is not necessary.
I was thinking, more along the lines of a suitable "fix-up" tractor that I can buy for a few grand and put a little elbow grease into and have a nice machine I can use for work here and there and leave my ATV for fun purposes. I'd say $4,000 is probably max price range. I know, I want somethin for nothin. Its just my personality. I have plenty of time to find the perfect tractor.

lol. I'm from one of those places where 50 degrees is considered seasonably warm. 20 degrees? A good pair of gloves and a jacket will do. Snow and -10? A good snowsuit, a pair of Sorels, and a hat!

How have you been sleeping (after you are done with Troy)?
I'm thinking you might be all out of whack, and its causing muscle strain. You might try going to a chiropractor.
I hear you Jeremy on your NASCAR comments. Love the sport, very interesting to see the progression over the years. I used to go to the track in Riverside CA to watch the race back in the 80's as a kid, and the new Fontana track is built practically in my folks' backyard. Not too impressed with the new track though, cookie cutter track with no character. My family and I want to catch a Bristol race one of these days.
Love Drags also for the same reasons you said as well. Walking the pits are the best attraction still.
Hey thats just down the road from us! Never been to a race there but been by there a few times after a race and the traffic is KILLER!

Once a tractor gets used to ether it's he!! to start without it. Been there, seen that. D@mn tractor wouldnt start when it was 80* after it had only been sitting for 30mins! Ether nowadays has some lubricant in it to help with the dry start problem. Still dont wanna shoot it if you dont have to. Even with the cyclinder lube in the newer ether I shoot a little WD-40 in before the ether.

Take two of these and call me in the morning! Not real sure what to tell you there but sinus problems suck!!
Lisa, around here 4 grand will get you a really kickass tractor! You should be able to get something for alot cheaper then that.
Where are you looking to buy it, in iowa or colorado?
Yeah I saw a nearly-new International with a plow attached for 4500 or something like that...
I sorta like the old tractors. They are..I dunno cool, and old! Iowa would be great, but, that is farm land and tractors probably go for more there. IL, KS, NE or surrounding states would work too. Or if any of you find a good one you can haul it out to me and stay for a week and party with Randy and I and I can pay for your fuel. lol.
This one sure is the right price, but has the skinny front that Leo warned against. 1946 Case Tractor
I would imagine if I get moved and introduce myself to the farmers around there, one of them will find me one through the grapevine.

I am having a hard time falling sleep because of the pain but once I get to sleep,I sleep fine. I had the headache first, it was off and on last week. Not enought to complain about or take meds. It has been solid since Saturday though.
4 grand Canadian? Is that still about 3500 US? Yeah, but then ya gotta get it across the border. I sold one of my TB Super Coupes to a man from your neck of the woods Sheldon and he went through Hell getting it back into Canada.
I'm surprised at so many pages of tractor talk. Jacob must be enjoying himself.
Lisa, it sounds like you're looking for a Ford 8N or 9N tractor. You should be able to find one that is reliable (relatively for something that old), has the cool factor, and will probably be in the 1,500-3,000 range.
Ether is a HUGE sin to use on tractors in my uncles farm. And Lee that tractor that wouldn't start at 80* is severly addicted to ether.
Lisa thanks for the added info I will start searching for a tractor. Hows this http://www.fastline.com/v100/details...b-cd2f2e642d21

Now this one is really neat. Even I would like to own that. Can't ya get some kind of training wheels for the front axle? You know something like wheelie bars that ride about a foot off of the ground and stick out to the sides? Now y'all know how much I know about tractors and farming.
