Lisa, it sounds like you're looking for a Ford 8N or 9N tractor. You should be able to find one that is reliable (relatively for something that old), has the cool factor, and will probably be in the 1,500-3,000 range.
lol, I was thinking the same thing. This just might be Jacob's dream OT...a bunch of powerstrokers talking tractors..

I do like the old tractors..and if it breaks down, it breaks down...I'll just have to figure it out and fix it. It'll be good for me.

Cris I agree, I think its time to go to the Doctor. Prolonged pain, or anything that last that long should probably be checked out.

Going to a race at Bristol is something I will do before I die. My first choice is the night race there. I hear the waiting list for tickets to that race is something like 2-3 years long.

I'd try eBay. Selling clothes on there is quite common.

I've really got nothing to add to the tractor talk. About my only experience with tractors is driving a few 7000 and 8000 series JD's through downtown Columbia, pulling a homecoming float in a parade, back when I was in college. Downtown is tight anyway, but driving a big 4x4 tractor through the streets with a 30+ foot trailer attached to it, and the streets being lined with lots of people & little kids, that was somewhat tense at times watching everything around and under me.

I got to drive a bucket loader across Salem,NH once.

didnt realize you need a commercial license to drive one.

It was really easy to drive and the single joystick control was simple to use.

4 hours use and you'd think I had been operating it for years.

my best friend had a 19 hp kubota diesel with a bunch of attachments. it was pretty fun to drive and use.

You don't down here in TN I do it everyday, I currently drive an 06 Cat 966G now that thing is nice sounds like it has a nice straight 6 behind me. When I first hired on at the Asphalt plant they threw me on it told me what each control did and said move this pile.
