Haha,no Im just poking some fun lol I KNOW you get snow up there in the mountains. I thought Mark had Phonex listed for his location, I was there once it was too damned hot I never left the pool.
Edit, It says Tempe, my mistake. Dont know where that is in AZ.
This is my Favorite out of all the different tractors i have driven...
Sorry for the small pic... Its a Case W14...
I also have a 30hp Kubota and that thing is amazing for a smaller tractor

Tempe is basically Phoenix, it is one of the suburbs. I think Mark is from NH, he must have been refering to that.
Going to a race at Bristol is something I will do before I die. My first choice is the night race there. I hear the waiting list for tickets to that race is something like 2-3 years long.
I'd try eBay. Selling clothes on there is quite common.
I've really got nothing to add to the tractor talk. About my only experience with tractors is driving a few 7000 and 8000 series JD's through downtown Columbia, pulling a homecoming float in a parade, back when I was in college. Downtown is tight anyway, but driving a big 4x4 tractor through the streets with a 30+ foot trailer attached to it, and the streets being lined with lots of people & little kids, that was somewhat tense at times watching everything around and under me.
Been in a couple parades myself. It alaways worries me about the little kids running out in front of you.

If you hadnt said it, I would have!
I know a guy that has a Hesston(German Engineering) tractor. It has a minature can of ether out next to the air intake with a button on the dash to shoot it. That is the best starting diesel I beleive I've ever seen in the cold. He said he's pretty sure the can was never used. Come to think of it, I dont recall that thing even having glow plugs....I'll have to check next time I'm over there.
Our 8 plants before we got bought out fed with a few 966Fs, a 950, 966G, and a 980G. We have a 980F for our rap crusher but it was sold when the company got bought out.

the big loader are only good for loading trucks or feeding a crusher
we had a small Kawasaki like that once, that was a powerful little guy but it couldn't feed the plant fast enough when our 966 went down.

I can understand how that'd be stressful. But thats why they chose you to do it, because you are a responsible worry wart.
But dont'cha think It'd be fun to drive that tractor in a big field and push a bunch of dirt around? Does to me. The last time I went to visit Randy's parents (small town near Omaha, NE) we went to a town called Fontanelle to visit their orchard and buy some fruit and whatnot. We stopped at their only gas station to get something to drink, and this 'ol boy pulls up in his old IH to gas up, right there at the pump. He caught me checkin out his tractor and gave me a big old smile and a nod. He could tell I was a wanna-be farmer.

Hell yeah! I like playing around on equipment in the dirt. I guess I forget about all the skid steers, mini excavators, and small tractors I've run before. I can drive them without any problems, but don't know enough about them to give any advice on buying one. They just put me in the seat, told me to drive, and I could drive.
Those are some pretty good pumpkins. The History channel had a show on about Halloween last night and showed some really creative pumpkins. The guy had some talent and was using all kinds of power tools to carve them out. Sawzall to cut the top, jig saw to cut the shapes on the side, a Dremel to grind off parts of the skin where he didn't want to make a huge hole, and even made something he called a "gooper" to take the goop out of the inside.
good morning everyone. Lisa good pics, Jeremy I understand completely how you feel. I hate it when I had to let my data brow my old truck. I wont even let him touch the new one. It's your baby!

Caught the end of that, pretty creative folks out there.
