You betcha Lisa, my lawn tractor is a bigger one, but I am looking for an old farm tractor too. Fortunatly one of the guys in our local fte chapter, is big into those, and his dad has a few that just need tinkering to get them running.

I thought it would be fun to find one that just needed tinkering, like ones you found. I think it would be a good learning process for me.

Yes, but..that doesn't mean a whole lot these days. I have to pay closing costs and realtor commissions on both sides, plus $2,000 worth of the work they asked for.
I'll still come away with enough to pay off the truck, move, and have a lil extra.
