But it will be in a warm clime and within walking distance of a beach.
guess I'm gonna have to ride over to the beach one day and see what's so special about it
I can't walk to it but is less than 2 miles
probly ain't been there in 10 or so years maybe it's great now
at least until hurricane season......how about somewhere high on a hilltop in the midwest overlooking a river?
No way. Too damn cold up there...
We'll all have PSDs -- we'll just pull fivers up out of the way when a big storm comes. I don't go unless it's a 4 or 5. Been through up to cat 3s, and only lost a couple asphalt shingles...

the cat 3,4 and 5 huricane winds aren't always what does the most damage
when wilma went through naples tornados are what tore the hell out of most of it
I like it at about 2400 ft in the mountains better and just down the road is a beach if needed
near a beach with a mountain in the background for the skiers, Jacob and Lisa will farm, Scott and I will cook, Joe has the I.T., Danny is in charge of security, Brent is the lead contractor, Mark(since he won the Powerball, is cheif Financial occifer, Jims got the electrical, Jeremys in charge of lubricants, Scott is also in charge of the Fab shop, Ill also be in charge of beer procurement (Mark im gonna need a pretty big budget for this).
Oh Yeah, Rick can be in charge of feed procurement for the livestock, and JD can be in charge of asphalt for the 1/4 mile dragway, Chris is in charge of the doghnuts, and Cris is in charge of Cap'n and Coke rations. Jason(HkUSP) is our chiropractor, and Mike (tenn) is our head of police (basically he runs the radar at the end of the dragstrip)
Sure Ray, but a tornado can hit you about anywhere. The way I see it, get out if it's a 4 or 5, no question. 3s are iffy, in my book. I've been through weak 3s, but not a strong 3. I think I'd leave if it's 130ish. I've been through 115-120 sustained.
BTW, I'm pretty sure you can get hurricane force winds on top of a mountain, given the right conditions...

Additions?
Sounds perfect to me, Brandon. Cris cuts hair, so she'll be the commune barber/hair stylist...
As long as we can each learn each others' area of expertise and rotate around a little, I think it'll be never-ending fun & learning!!
