Thanks Cris, and yes, they do. I'm sure you know all to well. All she wants to do today is curl up in daddys carhart sweatshirt and cry...Makes me feel like chit that I cant help make it better. A little tylenol and some teething rings, thats about it.
Brent When Jaymi-Lyn was teething I used to give her frozen vegetables. They worked great. To this day, she's 9 now, she still like to eat frozen veggies.

Actually The property that our barn is located on is a Seventh Day Adventist School. Its 500 acres of ocean front property. The property is an old military base that was called Camp McQuaide. After WW2 the US sold the property to the church for $500 Yup 500 acres for $500!!! Since it was a military base 2 miles into the ocean along with 3 miles of beach was sold with the property! This was long before that piece of ocean was called the Monterey Bay National Sanctuary... So them owning that beach/ocean makes it not a part of it. Also making it 100% privately owned beach and ocean! That is why we get to take our horses down there AND drive our vehicles down there!
Anyways there is your history lesson for the day hope you all enjoyed it! LOL

Wow, did I just read that you or your family owns 3 miles of ocean front on the Pacific Coast, or the Seventh Day Adventists do?

Those old unibodys are cool, grandpa said don't stack to much fire wood on the back, cause you can't get the doors open if you do.
Travis hang in there I think the bus only ran over you two are three times.
You know you just caused me to think of old trucks I've owned in my day. I once moved everything my new bride and I owned from Diamond Bar, California to Coos Bay, Oregon in a 1947 Dodge pickup. We had only been married 4 years and had 1 baby and a brand new Corvette. Guess which one she drove on this adventure. By the time we had just gotten north of Sacramento the truck was wearing me out trying to keep it going in a straight line because of all the weight in the back. It was all covered with a big above ground pool and tied with ropes. I stopped at a junkyard looking for something heavy and chose an old Buick straight 8. Using bailing wire and with the help of the junkyard owner I tied that block to the front bumper. It sure looked funny, but it did the job. We did not like Coos Bay, and after about 2 weeks decided to head for Colorado. Settled on Colorado Springs, rented a house, pulled that tired out truck into the driveway and about 3 of the tires popped right there. It was almost as if the truck said that was it, she was done. She was. There is a lot more to this story, but this will have to do for now.
Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married.
She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all.
One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showe= him into her quaint sitting room.
She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.
As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it.
The bowl was filled and in the water floated, of all things, a condom!
When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.
The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and he could no longer resist .
'Miss Beatrice', he said, 'I wonder if you would tell me about this?' pointing to the bowl.
'Oh, yes,' she replied, 'Isn't it wonderful?
I was walking through the Park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground.
Place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease.
