I don't blame you. No telling what kind of diseases those rodents could be carrying...they are scavengers after all. I probably would have worn some leather work gloves or something instead of an oven mitt...that's used during cooking. LOL.
Well yall want near by snow... nothing below 32 degrees and beach access looks like yall r coming to CALI!!!! From where i live i am 5 min. to the beach under an hour to the snow and we think 40 degrees is cold!!! Really nice property just out of town for CHEAP!!!

60 is pretty close to my tolerance point also. I've worked at -30 without gloves, but I was much younger. Any carpenter that tells you he can work with gloves on is full of chit.
That ain't bad, just 34 minutes to get caught up this morning. I have not checked the numbers yet. I have a ritual in the mornings, first thing I do with the coffee is catch up on my subscribed threads.
Travis: It looks like you had a blast at the party!!!!
Brad: That is one sweet truck. I would'nt get rid of it either. No friggen way!!
Scott: I love the old Mustangs. I can pick them up here but they are either A: rust buckets B: Full of bondo to cover the rust or C: The price of a house!
Good Luck with the project. Post pics of the progress for us!!
Scott,
That looks like a good project car. Looks to be pretty solid.
I found a '66 Cougar in pasture, many years ago. I wish I would have snatched it up. It looked about the same shape. Does she run?
Very cool old truck. I'd like to get one like that someday.
My Dad and I went in on this together this past week:
Scott, that looks like it's spent most of its life in AZ or CA. I do not remember 4 wheel lug mustangs. Must've been though. I was always looking at the high performance ones of course. How much did you have to cough up for that if you don't mind announcing such information.

okay I'm curious.......what makes it seem like it was from Cali or AZ?

Looks absolutely untouched at all with no rust of anykind where they first start showing rust. I remember living in California during my high school years and I could have bought Model A's all day long in that kind of condition for 75 to 100 bucks. Motors would all be shot, but the frames and bodies perfect. If that is an original mustang from a good climate I'll bet the motor burns a quart of oil a day.
