I am happy if I can just keep up with everything that happens in this thread. You never know who is getting a shot in the ***, trimming the bushes, getting their deck polished, buying new cars or who is quoting themselves and laughing.
Half of the ones ive seen are just so stupid Im pissed by the time I leave because I spent 10 bucks on some chity movie... then there are the few that are so bad they make me laugh, I dont mind those because I get a kick outa them.
Ever see "cloverfield"? My friends date nearly puked and I had to keep closing my eyes so they'd stop hurting from all the crappy camera work.
Sorry this might be off topic, but when the hell did we need sponsorship from the damn mormons?? I don't hate em or anything, but I do hate them knocking on my door in thier short sleeve shirts and cheep ties. The last thing I care to see is them recruiting on the one last website I can really enjoy..... sorry, had to rant.....
The only horror flicks that even come close to bothering me are those that can almost be something that could really happen. A lot of the massacre movies, like the chain saw ones, and the ones that are really out there...don't even faze me.
Now movies like the Saw series can sometimes get to me because some of those things I can see some psycho really doing. The opening scene of Saw III specifically comes to mind, where the guy is tied up by chains with hoops that are pierced into different parts of his body. When he stars ripping those things out to try and escape, that got to me for some reason. The night we rented it, I was feeling bad already, hadn't eaten much all day, and during that scene I almost puked. Got all sweaty, headed for the bathroom, got light headed and nearly passed out, collapsing on the floor, somewhere between the bathroom door and the toilet. Never did puke, but that was no fun.
Something about the blood and stuff that can be real just gets to me. Same thing with watching surgeries and operations. I can't watch them. Makes me queasy.
